Sproles is likely to be a game-time decision for Monday night against the Redskins, but we would think the Eagles are going to take things slow with the veteran running back—who has been out since Week 1—to avoid another setback. Sproles’ status will be known Monday night.

Martavis Bryant (knee) has been downgraded to doubtful for tomorrow’s game.
Bryant hasn’t practiced in three weeks, and frankly it was a surprise he was listed as questionable yesterday. Expect Bryant to be ruled out tomorrow.

The Dolphins signed Nick O’Leary to a one-year contract extension.
This deal keeps O’Leary with the Dolphins through next season. He hasn’t put up big numbers, but the coaching staff clearly likes him and wants to keep him around. The Florida State product isn’t a fantasy option, especially with second-round rookie Mike Gesicki likely to become the top tight end for the Dolphins in 2019 and beyond.

The Ravens officially activated running back Kenneth Dixon.
Dixon was designated to return from injured reserve on November 16, and he’s now being activated while the team sends Alex Collins to injured reserve. Collins practiced fully yesterday while dealing with his foot injury, so this could indicate the Ravens preferred to roll with Dixon as a change-of-pace option in the backfield moving forward for the rest of this season—or perhaps Collins just isn’t really 100% so he’s being shut down. Dixon is worth a look as a fantasy pickup in deeper leagues, but Gus Edwards is likely to keep control of Baltimore’s backfield.

The Ravens have placed Alex Collins (foot) on injured reserve.
This is a surprising move after Collins was a full participant in yesterday’s practice and thought to have a good shot to play this Sunday, but the move opens up a spot for running back Kenneth Dixon to be activated to the 53-man roster. Collins was an early-round selection in most fantasy drafts during the summer after his breakout 2017 season, but he battled some injuries and wasn’t quite as efficient this season. Collins’ season ends with 114 carries, 411 rushing yards, seven rushing touchdowns, 15 receptions, 105 receiving yards, and one receiving touchdown in ten games. Undrafted rookie Gus Edwards recently took control of the backfield, so Collins didn’t have a ton of fantasy value as of late. The third-year running back will become a restricted free agent this offseason, so the Ravens will likely be interested in bringing him back next season.

The Colts re-signed Phillip Walker to the practice squad.
This was pretty much expected after the Colts released Walker a couple of days ago. The team likes the former Temple quarterback, and they continue to keep him around.

The Chiefs are releasing Kareem Hunt.
The franchise released a statement reading: “Earlier this year, we were made aware of an incident involving running back Kareem Hunt. At that time, the National Football League and law enforcement initiated investigations into the issue. As part of our internal discussions with Kareem, several members of our management team spoke directly to him. Kareem was not truthful in those discussions. The video released today confirms that fact. We are releasing Kareem immediately.” This is a bit of a shocker, though not that surprising. The Chiefs say they were lied to by Hunt, so they have decided to release him. Hunt will now hit waivers, and it’ll be interesting to see if anyone claims the talented second-year running back. Last season as a rookie for Kansas City, Hunt led the NFL in rushing with 1,327 yards, and he had 2,151 rushing yards, 15 rushing touchdowns, 833 receiving yards, and ten receiving touchdowns in one-plus seasons with the team. 27-year-old and former starter Spencer Ware will lead the backfield for the rest of this season and potential beyond, and the Chiefs will rely on Patrick Mahomes and the talented receivers around him to keep the offense clicking without one of its best players since last season.
