Mitchell Trubisky | Bills QB

Mitchell Trubisky (right shoulder) is officially listed as doubtful for Thanksgiving.

Perhaps Trubisky will surprise and start tomorrow against the Lions, but it’ll likely be Chase Daniel under-center for Chicago. This is a downgrade for the skill position players of the Bears, though Jordan Howard could get fed the ball more with his starting quarterback out of the lineup. Expect Trubisky to be inactive when the official actives and inactives are released around 11:00 AM ET tomorrow. Daniel won’t be a highly-recommended QB option for Week 12.

Adam Shaheen | Free Agent TE

Adam Shaheen (concussion) did not practice today.

Shaheen is dealing with a concussion, which probably occurred on the two-point conversion in Sunday night’s win against the Vikings. Hopefully the second-year tight end is feeling better soon, but it might be a stretch to expect him to play on Thanksgiving.

O.J. Howard | Free Agent TE

The Buccaneers are placing O.J. Howard on injured reserve, according to Rick Stroud.

Some have indicated it might be a high-ankle sprain Howard is dealing with, which might have taken the rest of the season to heal, but this is still a surprise. Hopefully the injury isn’t anything worse than a high-ankle sprain. The uber-athletic second-year tight end’s season ends with 34 receptions for 565 yards and five touchdowns in ten games. The Alabama product again showed the major upside that arguably made him a steal with the 19th pick in last year’s draft, and he’s averaged 16.6 yards per reception in each of his first two seasons. Cameron Brate will now take over as the lead tight end for the Bucs, and he has obvious TE1 upside down the stretch given his solid connection with Jameis Winston. It’s worth noting that Tampa Bay’s offense might run more through their talented receivers now, though. Howard will likely offer elite TE1 upside in 2019 fantasy drafts, though we’ll see if anything changes with a potentially-new coaching staff after the season.

Ryan Tannehill | Free Agent QB

Ryan Tannehill (shoulder) is expected to start this Sunday.

Tannehill missed the last five games while dealing with a shoulder issue. He returned to practice after last week’s bye and is reportedly slinging the ball around without much of an issue, so this is great news as it’s not a season-ending injury that requires surgery (at least not right now). Dolphins head coach Adam Gase did say that he told Brock Osweiler to stay ready, which indicates they might not be 100% confident in Tannehill’s shoulder, but the starter is giving it a go. Tannehill’s return comes with the Dolphins at 5-5 looking to make the playoffs in a tight AFC, so it’s a boost for the Dolphins as a team. However, Tannehill is not a recommended fantasy pickup in standard-sized leagues given quarterback is such a strong and deep position.

Mitchell Trubisky | Bills QB

Mitchell Trubisky (right shoulder) is considered day-to-day.

Trubisky injured his shoulder in the fourth quarter against the Vikings on Sunday night, but the Bears seem to be optimistic that he’ll be able to play on Thanksgiving against the Lions. The second-year quarterback might be headed for a questionable tag tomorrow, but we’ll update you when the final Week 12 injury report is released. Keep in mind the Bears probably aren’t going to rush their franchise quarterback if it risks further injury.

11/20/18 - 12:57 PM ET

KhaDarel Hodge | Falcons WR

KhaDarel Hodge catches one pass in win over the Chiefs.

It went for three yards. Hodge isn’t a recommended fantasy option as depth for the Rams, as he now has just two catches this season.

11/20/18 - 12:32 AM ET

Gerald Everett | Free Agent TE

Gerald Everett catches game-winning touchdown in Monday Night Football classic.

Everett caught three passes for 49 yards and two scores, including the game-winner from 40 yards away to give Los Angles a 54-51 victory. On the play, Everett was able to beat his man down the right sideline and break out of the tackle with some great footwork after catching a dime from Jared Goff in stride. On the previous score, Everett found space across the middle and made a contested grab from seven yards away. The 2017 second-round pick should be confident when Los Angeles returns from their Week 12 bye, and he is worth considering as a streaming option against Detroit next time out.
