Colt McCoy | Retired QB

Colt McCoy throws one touchdown in Week 11.

Unfortunately, McCoy had to enter the game after a season-ending leg injury to starter Alex Smith. McCoy played well, though, going 6/12 for 54 yards and a touchdown along with five carries for 35 yards. He scrambled around and made plays, and the Redskins actually dialed up a zone-read on his first play of the game. He’s likely to use his legs moving forward. McCoy is suddenly the starting quarterback for a first-place team, and the Redskins have been very high on him. The former Texas star knows Jay Gruden’s offense better than maybe anyone on the team, and he should play well moving forward. He’s not a recommended fantasy pickup in a run-heavy offense, though.

Demaryius Thomas | Retired WR

Demaryius Thomas did not catch a pass in Week 11.

Thomas was not very involved for the Texans on offense. This could’ve been just a one-off occurrence, but the former Bronco does not need to be owned in standard-sized fantasy leagues.

Pharoh Cooper | Free Agent WR

The Rams officially activated Pharoh Cooper (ankle) from injured reserve.

Cooper practiced with the team during the week, so this was fully expected. The All-Pro returner instantly gives the Rams a big boost on special teams, and he’ll likely get some time on offense with Cooper Kupp out. Cooper isn’t a recommended fantasy pickup outside of leagues that award points for return yardage, but it’ll be good  to see him back out on the field for the first time since Week 1.

Jakeem Grant | Free Agent WR

Jakeem Grant is undergoing season-ending lower-leg surgery, according to Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald.

Grant was injured in Week 10 against the Dolphins, and unfortunately surgery is necessary. The good news is this wasn’t a ruptured Achilles like was initially feared, and Beasley says Grant will “absolutely” be back for the start of the 2019 season and might be ready for the spring. So it sounds like he’ll be back for training camp at the latest. Grant’s season ends with 21 receptions for 268 yards and two touchdowns along with one carry for five yards. He also had an 102-yard kick return touchdown and a 71-yard punt return touchdown, so obviously this is a big loss for the Dolphins. We wish him luck on his surgery and recovery.

Jordan Thomas | Free Agent TE

Jordan Thomas catches one pass in Week 11.

Thomas gained 11 yards on his one reception versus the Redskins. This ends the rookie tight end’s streak of two straight games with a touchdown, but he’ll look to have a bigger game in Week 12 against the Titans.

11/19/18 - 10:48 AM ET

Jordan Akins | Free Agent TE

Jordan Akins catches two passes in Week 11.

Akins gained 42 yards on his two receptions against the Redskins, including a gain of 28 yards. The rookie tight end isn’t a recommended fantasy option right now, but this was a promising showing and set a career high.

11/19/18 - 10:47 AM ET

Michael Crabtree | Free Agent WR

Michael Crabtree held to one catch in Week 11 win.

Crabtree caught one of his three targets for seven yards in the victory, as Lamar Jackson completed just 13 passes for 150 yards in his first career start. The rookie prefers throwing between the numbers, so Willie Snead looks like the safest play out of the receiving corps next week when Crabtree faces the Raiders (his former team) next week at home.
