Dante Pettis (knee) is off the Week 8 injury report.

Pettis will make his return this week in his first action since Week 4. With Pierre Garcon doubtful, Pettis could have a nice opportunity for a solid number of targets against the Cardinals. Pettis is on the FLEX radar for deep leagues, but he offers downside in his first game back.

Theo Riddick (knee) is officially out this week.

Riddick didn’t practice this week, and he remains week-to-week as he attempts to return from his knee injury.

Pierre Garcon (shoulder, knee) is officially doubtful for Week 8.

This was fully expected. Expect the veteran receiver to be inactive on Sunday, but he wouldn’t be a recommended fantasy option if he suits up against the Cardinals.

Matt Breida (ankle) is officially listed as questionable for Sunday.

Breida didn’t practice the last two days, but he was able to get out there today ahead of the injury report being released. Considering the second-year running back has battled through multiple injuries and hasn’t missed a game yet this season, he seems likely to play against the Cardinals. However, his status might not be known until after the earlier games kick off. If Breida is active, he’s more of a FLEX option because he could suffer another setback during the game, but Arizona is giving up the most standard fantasy points to opposing running backs, so there’s obvious upside there.

Dalvin Cook (hamstring) has been ruled out for Week 8.

This is Cook’s fifth missed game this season. Latavius Murray will again carry the load on Sunday night against the Saints, but he’s more of a low-end RB2 for a matchup against a team that’s giving up just 72.3 rushing yards per game and 3.1 yards per carry. Cook is expected to also miss next week, as the Vikings are likely to hold him out through their Week 10 bye week.

Ryan Grant (ankle) is out for Week 8.

This is Grant’s second straight missed game, and he doesn’t need to be kept on fantasy rosters right now. Hopefully he’s able to get back on the field soon, though.

Erik Swoope (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday.

Swoope did not practice at all this week; and now Jack Doyle is expected to return for the Colts, so Swoope is off the fantasy radar for now.
