It looked like a potentially serious injury when Chark’s ankle was rolled on badly earlier tonight, and unfortunately it is a fracture. Chark is out indefinitely. You obviously hate to see this for one of the best players on the Jaguars roster, but hopefully the fourth-year receiver is able to return in the middle-to-late part of this season.

D.J. Chark gets carted off against the Bengals.
Chark appeared to have his lower leg/ankle area rolled up on badly, and unfortunately he’s being carted off just three plays into tonight’s Thursday Night Football matchup with the Jaguars. Chark had no receptions before leaving the game early, and we hope he is feeling better soon and isn’t dealing with a long-term injury.

Carlos Hyde is inactive for Week 4.
This news locks James Robinson into a feature workload coming off his best game of the season, and he should now be viewed as a borderline RB1/RB2. Hyde can likely be dropped in normal-sized leagues.

LeSean McCoy is retiring from the NFL.
The announcement was made by a tweet from the Philadelphia Eagles Twitter account saying that McCoy will retire tomorrow as an Eagle, so his career ends after 12 seasons. Overall, the former second-round pick totaled 2,457 carries, 11,102 rushing yards, 73 rushing touchdowns, 518 receptions, 3,898 receiving yards, and 16 receiving touchdowns with the Eagles, Bills, Chiefs, and Buccaneers. He was a two-time All-Pro selection, six-time Pro Bowler, and ended up finishing with a couple of Super Bowl rings over his final two seasons as a member of championship squads in Kansas City and Tampa Bay. It’s fitting that the Pennsylvania native will end his career in Philadelphia—where he was one of the NFL’s most electric players.

Antonio Brown is officially being taken off the reserve/COVID-19 list today.
As Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians said yesterday would be the case, Browns’ ten days are up and he can return to the team. Despite being vaccinated, Brown had to miss one game because of NFL protocols. AB missed the big Rams matchup in Week 3 but returns in time for Tom Brady’s return to New England on Sunday night.

The Raiders are signing Javon Wims to the practice squad.
The former Bears receiver is another potential big body on the outside for Las Vegas. He’ll start on the practice squad with the hope of working his way to the active roster at some point this season.

Colby Parkinson (foot) has been designated to return from injured reserve.
If fully healthy, Parkinson might return as soon as this week with Gerald Everett on the reserve/COVID-19 list, so he could have an immediate role alongside Will Dissly. The second-year tight end can be a factor in scoring territory.
