JuJu Smith-Schuster (ribs) considered day-to-day.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport says tests on Smith-Schuster were negative, so it sounds like no fractures or anything like that, which is good to hear. JuJu might be limited in practice this week, but we expect he’ll be ready to go for Week 4.

Christian McCaffrey (hamstring) will not be placed on injured reserve.

Being placed on injured reserve would have forced McCaffrey to miss at least three weeks, so we suppose this is a good sign. However, the Panthers are obviously not going to rush McCaffrey back just to beat a three-week timeframe in which he could have been on injured reserve. Consider the superstar running back week-to-week for now, and perhaps the mini bye (because of the Thursday night game) between Weeks 3 and 4 will help him get back on the field soon.

K.J. Hamler tore his ACL.

Hamler’s season is over after three games during which he caught five passes for 74 yards. This is obviously a really tough break for an explosive young player. The Broncos could be relying on Courtland Sutton and Tim Patrick heavily these next few weeks with Jerry Jeudy (ankle) also currently out. We wish Hamler the best on his recovery and look forward to seeing him back on the field in 2022.

Dan Arnold is being traded to the Jaguars, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

The bigger news is Jacksonville sending former top-ten pick C.J. Henderson to the cornerback-needy Panthers (the Jags also get a third-round pick, and will send a fifth-round pick), but for fantasy purposes, Arnold is now headed elsewhere. Going from a 3-0 team to an 0-3 team, this is obviously a tough break for Arnold, though he should at least be more of a priority in Jacksonville as the team tries to get Trevor Lawrence and the offense on the right track. For a quick turnaround to face Cincinnati on Thursday night (his second TNF game in a row), Arnold probably can’t be trusted in fantasy lineups.

K.J. Hamler (knee) has officially been ruled out for the rest of today.

Hamler had a 28-yard reception before leaving against the Jets. Hopefully the dynamic second-year receiver isn’t dealing with an injury that’ll lead to a lengthy absence.

JuJu Smith-Schuster (rib) is out for the rest of today.

It’s been a rough afternoon for the Steelers offense, and it continues with JuJu being out for the rest of the game. Before leaving the Week 3 matchup with the Bengals, Smith-Schuster had three catches for 25 yards.

Dalvin Cook (ankle) is officially inactive for the Vikings.

Cook did not practice all week, and things were trending this way ahead of the weekend. It’s early in the season, and the Vikings probably don’t want to push their star running back too much with 15 games still on the schedule. Alexander Mattison is set to lead the Minnesota backfield today versus Seattle.
