Greg Olsen | Retired TE

Greg Olsen says he’ll likely need another foot surgery.

Despite this, the veteran tight end is going to try to finish out this season—starting this week—and put the surgery off until the offseason. Olsen is in danger of another re-break at any moment, but he should be a viable option for Cam Newton in the passing game as long as he’s on the field. There is a zero-floor risk inserting the veteran tight end into fantasy lineups, though. Hopefully he can get up to a full practice participant this week.

KhaDarel Hodge | Falcons WR

KhaDarel Hodge makes first career NFL catch in win over the Seahawks.

It was a 14-yard reception on his only target, as Hodge was forced into an offensive role when Brandin Cooks and Cooper Kupp entered the concussion protocol. The undrafted rookie isn’t on the fantasy radar.

Jordan Matthews | Panthers TE

Jordan Matthews catches one pass in Week 5.

Matthews’ lone reception against the Vikings went for four yards. He’s getting time on offense but is not a recommended fantasy option at the moment.

Dallas Goedert | Eagles TE

Dallas Goedert catches both Week 5 targets.

The rookie tight end gained 16 yards on his two receptions against the Vikings. Goedert is not a reliable fantasy option quite yet.

Alshon Jeffery | Free Agent WR

Alshon Jeffery struggles in loss to the Vikings.

Jeffery had the tough task of matching up with All-Pro cornerback Xavier Rhodes for the afternoon, and he was able to make a couple of key catches; but he also had a couple of key drops in the comeback effort. Overall, Jeffery caught two-of-eight targets for 39 yards. Jeffery should find more room to navigate in Week 6 against the Giants.

10/8/18 - 01:32 PM ET

Gerald Everett | Free Agent TE

Gerald Everett caught three passes for 24 yards in Sunday’s win over Seattle.

Everett hauled in all three of his targets, as the tight ends got more involved when Cooper Kupp and Brandin Cooks both left the game to enter the concussion protocol. Los Angeles’ 2017 second-round pick is worth monitoring as a streamer in the even that Kupp and Cooks both aren’t cleared for Week 6 in Denver.

10/8/18 - 01:30 PM ET

Nelson Agholor | Free Agent WR

Nelson Agholor catches all four targets against the Vikings.

Agholor gained 45 yards on his four receptions in the Week 5 loss, and it could’ve been a bigger game if Carson Wentz would have given him the ball in the flat for what looked like a would-be 20-yard gain and a first down instead of running it himself. Agholor should probably be more involved in the offense, and we’ll see if he gets more targets against the Giants on Thursday night. He’s a FLEX option for the matchup.
