Andy Dalton leaves game with injury.

Dalton is limping on the sideline, and first-round rookie Justin Fields is now in the game for the Bears. We’ll update you as more information becomes available on Dalton’s status.

It is officially a rib injury for Tua Tagovailoa.

At least it’s not another hip injury for Tua, who is questionable to return against the Bills. Overall, it’s probably a good sign that Tua hasn’t been immediately ruled out, but it would be a surprise if he returns to this afternoon’s game. Before leaving, Tagovailoa was 1/4 for 13 yards.

Tua Tagovailoa is getting carted to the locker room.

Tua took a big hit on a fourth-down pass attempt against the Bills, and he’s now getting carted to the back after he was in obvious discomfort. Now we just have to hope this isn’t as serious as it might look for a guy that’s dealt with a serious hip injury from a couple of years ago. Jacoby Brissett will take over at quarterback for Miami.

Rhamondre Stevenson is inactive for Week 2.

Stevenson lost a fumble in his debut, and New England is going with J.J. Taylor over him on the gameday roster against the Jets. Based on his upside as a handcuff, the rookie should still be stashed in all redraft leagues. Damien Harris is firmly a top-20 play this week.

Parris Campbell is inactive for Week 2.

He’s yet another injury for the Colts, but Michael Pittman Jr. and Zach Pascal are at least good to go. Look for Nyheim Hines to really be leaned on behind Jonathan Taylor for what should be a running back-heavy attack against the Rams.

Jamison Crowder is inactive for Week 2.

The expectation was that Crowder would be active after missing the opener, but he will take another week. This news should keep Elijah Moore in an every-down role, and Keelan Cole—inactive last week—will make his team debut. Denzel Mims is also inactive for the Jets despite shining when given an opportunity in the opener.

The Raiders have placed Marcus Mariota (quad) on injured reserve, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

This was expected, and Nathan Peterman will now step in as Derek Carr’s backup for a few weeks. Mariota could again see action as a change-up at quarterback with some designed plays when he returns.
