Jarius Wright | Free Agent WR

Jarius Wright catches one pass in win over the Bengals.

It went for seven yards. Wright isn’t a recommended fantasy option as he rotates with Torrey Smith and D.J. Moore behind clear No. 1 Devin Funchess.

David Johnson | Free Agent RB

David Johnson scores in Week 3.

The Cardinals got off to a great start offensively, scoring 14 first-quarter points, and Johnson was the recipient of a 25-yard touchdown reception on a corner route from the backfield—those are the type of routes Johnson should be running more often, like he did during his amazing 2016 season. Overall, Johnson had 12 carries for 31 yards along with four receptions for 30 yards and a touchdown. Arizona could probably use Johnson on more outside runs, as he’s often getting stuffed inside with the offensive line struggling to get much of a push. It was a bit of a head-scratcher that Johnson wasn’t in on a key third-and-two run, but he doesn’t appear to be dealing with any type of injury. DJ and the Cardinals stay at home to face the Seahawks, who just gave up over 100 yards to Ezekiel Elliott, in Week 4. He remains an RB1 option, albeit one with limited upside until the offense turns it around.

Torrey Smith | Retired WR

Torrey Smith caught three passes for 19 yards in Sunday’s win over the Bengals.

Smith scored in Week 2, but he’s yet to crack 35+ yards heading into Carolina’s Week 4 bye. He won’t be a recommended fantasy option when the Panthers return to face the Giants in a couple weeks.

Josh Rosen | Free Agent QB

Josh Rosen throws interception in relief of Sam Bradford.

After Bradford had three turnovers (two interceptions, one fumble) the Cardinals decided to go with the rookie Josh Rosen at the end of the game. We question whether it was the right time to play a rookie quarterback over an experienced veteran needing just a field goal to win the game, but the Cardinals reportedly were ready to play Rosen and probably took the three turnovers as an opportunity to get him in the game. Rosen was 4/7 for 36 yards and an interception along with a 12-yard carry in the loss. The interception came on a deep out that was thrown too far inside, thought Rosen didn’t have a completely clean pocket on the play. If not for an offsides by Khalil Mack on Rosen’s next drive wiping it out, he would’ve thrown a pick-six that was easily telegraphed by the defensive back. The Cardinals will probably stick with Rosen at quarterback, which is a downgrade for Arizona’s skill players like David Johnson and Larry Fitzgerald. However, no matter who is under-center, Arizona needs to do a better job of scheming guys open and getting the ball to DJ and Fitz.

9/24/18 - 02:12 PM ET

Shelton Gibson | Free Agent WR

Shelton Gibson doesn’t catch a pass in Week 3.

Gibson wasn’t targeted in Carson Wentz’s return, while Jordan Matthews caught two passes in his first game back with the Eagles. Gibson doesn’t need to be owned in fantasy leagues, especially with Alshon Jeffery nearing a return.

9/24/18 - 12:50 PM ET

Josh Bellamy | Free Agent WR

Josh Bellamy catches one pass in Week 3.

Bellamy was targeted once against the Cardinals, with the Bears getting the ball on his hands for a quick screen that went for two yards. Chicago has gotten the ball to Bellamy on quick screens in consecutive weeks, so perhaps he’ll break one for a long gain or a score soon.

9/24/18 - 02:06 PM ET

Ian Thomas | Raiders TE

Ian Thomas caught three passes for 20 yards in Sunday’s win over the Bengals.

Thomas was largely held in check besides an 18-yard reception to pickup a first down on one of Carolina’s scoring drives. The rookie heads into the bye with just 4.9 yards per reception on no scores on seven grabs, but he should again be worth considering in two-TE leagues with Greg Olsen (foot) out in Week 5.
