Benjamin was shadowed by Xavier Rhodes in a game that Buffalo led throughout and aired it out just 22 times, but he dropped a would-be touchdown on a slant that Josh Allen placed right in his belly. So far, KB has disappointed fantasy owners, but we’ll see if he can get going with the schedule lightening up after he tough stretch to start the year. Consider him a FLEX option against the Packers next week.

Marcus Murphy handles nine touches as Bills upset the Vikings.
Murphy rushed eight times for 33 yards, also adding a one-yard reception. The 26-year-old saw extended playing time with LeSean McCoy (ribs) out, but Chris Ivory was the clear lead back and led the team in rushing and receiving. If McCoy misses more time, Murphy is worth considering in deeper PPR leagues as a FLEX option.

Jordy Nelson goes off in Week 3 loss.
Jon Gruden hinted that this week might by Nelson’s time to have a big game after Jared Cook and Amari Cooper had big performances in Weeks 1 and 2, respectively, and the veteran receiver certainly did. Nelson caught six-of-eight targets for 173 yards and a touchdown in the loss to Miami. He started the game on-fire, taking a slant route 61 yards before catching a 12-yard touchdown on the same drive. He then followed it up by getting behind the defense for a 66-yard gain on a deep pass. After a relatively quiet start to the season, Nelson probably silenced all the doubters that claimed he was over the hill, as he showed he certainly has the speed to make huge plays. It might be a different guy making plays for Oakland each week, but Nelson is at least a FLEX option for Week 4 against the Browns.

Chris Ivory draws the start, impresses in win over the Vikings.
Ivory rushed 20 times for 56 yards, also adding three receptions for a team-high 70 yards in a 27-6 road victory. LeSean McCoy (ribs) was inactive, so Ivory operated as the workhorse in what turned out to be a dominant performance from the Bills. It might sound crazy, but compared to McCoy’s off-script running, the no-nonsense style of Ivory might be a better fit right now behind a sub-par offensive line. The veteran would be a solid FLEX option in Week 4 if he draws another start against the Packers.

Josh Allen, Bills shock the Vikings with dominant road victory.
Allen completed 15/22 passes for 196 yards, one touchdown, and zero interceptions, also adding ten carries for 39 yards and two scores in a 27-6 win. It’s been a season with a lot of surprises thus far, but this was probably the biggest, as despite facing the best defense in the league and a legitimate Super Bowl contender, Allen looked like the best player on the field. He started things off in the first quarter with a ten-yard touchdown run that was capped off with a Superman dive to outrun Anthony Barr, and the rookie later hurdled Barr with ease on another first-down conversion. After that, Allen found Jason Croom down the right sideline for a 26-yard score and then rushed for another touchdown on a quarterback sneak. Overall, it was a phenomenal performance by a quarterback that many “experts” said wouldn’t be ready to start for one or two years, and while there will be growing pains, Buffalo fans should feel confident that they have their guy. Allen’s rushing upside alone puts him on the streaming radar heading into a Week 4 matchup with the Packers.

Martavis Bryant catches two passes against the Dolphins.
With Seth Roberts a healthy inactive, Bryant worked as more of a clear No. 3 receiver for Oakland. Bryant gained 30 yards on his two receptions, and he added one carry for four yards. Late in the game, there was a fade intended for Bryant in the end zone, but it was slightly underthrown and Xavien Howard made a nice play on the ball for a clutch interception. Bryant is not a highly-recommended fantasy option next week against the Browns.

Doug Martin runs well in Week 3.
Martin received nine caries against the Dolphins, picking up 43 yards. Marshawn Lynch (19 carries) against handled a goal-line carry and converted, but it’s good to see Martin running well behind him. Martin is just a deep-league FLEX option for Week 4.
