Join now >The Eagles signed DeAndre Carter to the practice squad.
Jordan Matthews basically took Carter’s spot on the 53-man roster, but the five-foot-eight receiver is back with Philadelphia on the practice squad after impressing during the summer. Carter has shown he can work his way back onto the active roster, but he’s not on the fantasy radar at the moment.

De’Anthony Thomas returns long punt in Week 2.
Thomas had a spectacular 48-yard punt return to set up a Chiefs touchdown. On the return he fumbled the ball and bobbled it in the air, but he kept control in stride down the sideline and nearly scored. Unless you are in a league with return yardage for points, Thomas is not a fantasy option in an offense with so many other weapons.

The Patriots re-signed Corey Coleman to their practice squad, according to NFL Network.
NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo reported this was close to happening earlier in the day, and Ian Rapoport says it’s now official. The 2016 first-round pick is in an excellent spot with the Patriots, and he’ll be able to develop on the practice squad with the chance to eventually work his way into a role as one of Tom Brady’s targets. Coleman is worth owning in dynasty leagues.

Damien Williams gets one touch against the Steelers.
Williams had one reception for two yards in the Week 2 victory. He’s great depth and a real-life contributor for the Chiefs, but Williams should not be in fantasy lineups at the moment.

T.J. Yeldon (ankle) officially missed practice today.
Yeldon has had a history of some ankle issues, but it’s just Wednesday. Hopefully he’s back out at practice in at least a limited capacity tomorrow.

Mike Evans posts 10/83/1 line in Week 2 win.
Evans didn’t have a clean game with a drop and lost fumble that got the Eagles back into it, but Philly basically had no answers for he and the rest of Tampa Bay’s pass-catchers in a 27-21 victory. Overall, the big-bodied receiver is off to a great start with Ryan Fitzpatrick under center, and he will look to keep it going in a matchup with the Steelers next Monday night. Consider him a WR1/WR2 option.

Leonard Fournette (hamstring) was officially limited in today’s practice.
This is a good start to the week for Fournette, who wasn’t able to practice at all last week before not playing in Sunday’s win against the Patriots. Ideally, he’ll be able to get up to a full practice at some point this week. Fortunately, the Jaguars play in the earlier games this Sunday, so his status will be known before every game besides tomorrow night’s Thursday nighter between the Jets and Browns.
