The Texans played strong run defense against the Titans, who had 100 rushing yards on 34 carries. Henry gained 56 yards on his 18 attempts, while Dion Lewis had 42 yards on 14 attempts. Henry was also used as a wildcat quarterback, which was fun, and he completed his only pass attempt for eight yards. The Jaguars are a difficult matchup next week, but Henry is still in starting consideration for fantasy lineups. He’d get a boost if Marcus Mariota (elbow) can play in the game.

The Bengals signed Thomas Rawls.
With Joe Mixon out at least a game or two after arthroscopic knee surgery, Rawls is added to the backfield mix for Cincinnati. We like Rawls’ ability, and he’s still only 25 years old. Giovani Bernard is going to lead the backfield in Mixon’s absence, but don’t count out Rawls getting some carries and making an impact over the next couple of weeks. He’s just worth a fantasy pickup in deep leagues for now.

Dallas Goedert leaped on depth chart?
Goedert was held without a reception in the Eagles’ 27-21 loss to the Bucs, as former undrafted free agent Joshua Perkins (4/57) operated as the clear No. 2 option behind Zach Ertz. The rookie didn’t seem to play more than a handful of snaps, so he’s probably been demoted to the No. 3, which basically drains the touchdown-dependent fantasy value he had. Goedert should only be owned in dynasty leagues at this point.

Bill Belichick says the Josh Gordon trade is not finalized.
The deal between the Browns and Patriots dealing Gordon to New England went across the NFL transaction wire yesterday afternoon, but Belichick says there are “terms that have to be met” before the deal is actually finalized. Belichick didn’t want to get more into what has to happen for the trade to become official, and he declined to comment on Gordon as a player because he says he’s not yet on the roster. Perhaps Gordon himself needs to meet some off-field benchmark, but we fully expect he’ll soon be considered a member of the team. This stance by Belichick is worth keeping in mind, though, and Gordon might not be practicing today if the team isn’t treating him as a member of the roster yet.

Kamar Aiken caught five passes for 39 yards in Sunday’s loss to the Bucs.
Aiken was forced into extended action with Mike Wallace (ankle) going down, and Wallace will reportedly miss multiple weeks. If that’s the case, Aiken looks like a starter for a high-powered offense, which puts him on the fantasy radar heading into a matchup against his former team (the Colts) next Sunday.

The Patriots are releasing Kenjon Barner, according to Ian Rapoport.
New England needs room for the recently-signed Cyrus Jones, so Barner is getting released after one week with the Pats. The former Panther and Eagle should get a shot somewhere else soon as running back depth with value on special teams.

Joshua Perkins flashes in Week 2 loss.
Perkins caught four passes for 57 yards, operating as the clear No. 2 tight end ahead of second-rounder Dallas Goedert. The former undrafted free agent was a solid intermediate target for Nick Foles, and he’s suddenly someone to keep an eye on in Doug Pederson’s offense. We’ll see if Perkins stays ahead of Goedert in Week 3 against the Colts.
