Join now >Corey Clement totals 85 yards on 11 touches in Week 2 loss.
Clement rushed six times for a team-high 30 yards and a score, also adding five receptions for 55 yards. The second-year runner saw extended action with Jay Ajayi leaving the game for a bit with a back issue, but he still probably didn’t get enough touches for Philly. Since he returned to the game, Ajayi will probably be good to go in Week 3, so Clement remains just a FLEX option that probably won’t get the touches that fantasy owners would like.

The Vikings waived Stacy Coley.
The 2017 seventh-round pick was waived to make room for kicker Dan Bailey. The former Miami receiver could certainly be brought back on the practice squad if no other team claims him, as the Vikings like him.

Ryan Griffin catches one pass in Week 2.
Griffin gained 19 yards on his lone reception against the Titans. He’s not a reliable fantasy option at the moment.

The Rams are waiving Brandon Allen, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
As Pelissero notes, the Rams are likely to try and get Allen on the practice squad if he clears waivers. The 2016 sixth-round pick of the Jaguars can throw the ball around, and he should draw interest from other teams, too.

Jordan Akins catches two passes in Week 2.
Akins gained 21 yards on his two receptions. The rookie tight end isn’t a recommended fantasy option in an offense that heavily targets its wide receivers.

Jay Ajayi (back) might not play this week.
Philadelphia brought undrafted rookie running back Josh Adams from the practice squad, which indicates Ajayi might not be ready to go because of his back injury. Ajayi did return to Sunday’s game after injuring his back early in the contest, but the Eagles might want to take things slow with their top back. Darren Sproles (hamstring) also remains banged up, so the running back situation for the Eagles for this week could be interesting. Corey Clement could be headed for a featured role, which we think he would excel in. We’ll monitor Ajayi’s practice status throughout the week.

Nick Foles has 300-yard day in loss to the Buccaneers.
Foles went 35/48 for 334 yards, one touchdown, and zero interceptions. He also rushed three times for eight yards in the 27-21 defeat. The loss was mostly on the defense, as they simply couldn’t stop Ryan Fitzpatrick and Tampa Bay’s passing attack. For his part, Foles made it close with a second-half surge, which was capped off by a dime to Nelson Agholor from two yards out to make it a six-point game. Unfortunately, the defense couldn’t get the ball back, and Foles’ run dating back to last January could be over if Carson Wentz (knee) returns next Sunday as many expect. If not, the Super Bowl LII MVP would be a solid streaming option against the weak secondary of the Colts.
