Join now >The Eagles waived wide receiver DeAndre Carter.
Carter had an excellent summer for the Eagles, but he’s being waived to make room for Josh Adams being brought up from the practice squad. Carter might find his way back onto the team at some point, as their receiving corps is thin. This move could indicate Alshon Jeffery is very close to a return, though.

Bruce Ellington catches all three targets in Week 2.
Ellington gained 45 yards on his three receptions versus the Titans. He’s a reliable target for Deshaun Watson, but it’s risky to trust him in fantasy lineups now that Will Fuller is healthy.

The Eagles are promoting Josh Adams to the practice squad, according to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.
Somehow undrafted out of Notre Dame, the Eagles were able to get Adams through waivers and onto the practice squad after a solid preseason with the team. Now, he’s getting a crack on the 53-man roster and could be immediately active on game day this weekend against the Colts. Adams is someone to keep an eye on in dynasty leagues in particular, with Jay Ajayi due to become a free agent this offseason.

DeAndre Hopkins goes over 100 yards with a score in Week 2.
Hopkins was targeted a team-high 11 times versus the Titans, catching six passes for 110 yards and a touchdown in the loss. The touchdown was on a 28-yard pass over the middle that Hopkins turned up field and into the end zone after a Deshaun Watson scramble. Hopkins is obviously a strong WR1 option for Week 3 against the Giants.

Antonio Brown did not show up to work yesterday, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
Ed Bouchette and Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette are reporting this, as they say it’s unclear if Brown was excused by head coach Mike Tomlin, but that “several sources indicated they did not know why Brown didn’t show up with the rest of his teammates for meetings and film review.” Maybe he was excused, but this does not look good—especially after Brown responded to criticism on Twitter (about Ben Roethlisberger “making him” and getting him paid) by saying that the team should trade him to find out whether that’s true. AB voiced displeasure to offensive coordinator Randy Fichtner during Sunday’s loss to the Chiefs despite the team putting up points, and he was also reportedly not celebrating with his teammates after Roethlisberger’s big rushing score in what was a tight game. Quite honestly, it seems like Brown is unhappy he isn’t getting the ball as much as he wants to put up huge numbers, and the fact that teammate JuJu Smith-Schuster is off to an outstanding start to the season could be adding fuel to the fire. We’ll see what comes of this.

Will Fuller scores in 2018 debut.
After missing Week 1 because of a hamstring injury, Fuller stepped into the lineup and picked up where his connection with Deshaun Watson left off last season. Fuller caught eight-of-nine targets for 113 yards and a touchdown, wit hate score coming on a 39-yard go route down the left sideline. Watson has a lot of trust in Fuller, who’s made a lot of big plays during his several games with the young quarterback. Fuller faces the Giants in Week 3.

Brice Butler is re-signing with the Cowboys.
Butler just announced on Twitter that he would be signing with his old team. The 28-year-old receiver spent the last three years with the Cowboys, performing well as a deep threat when given opportunities. He signed with Arizona in the offseason, but the Cardinals cut him after the summer. Butler has obvious familiarity with Dallas’ offense, so he should be able to step right into a sizable role. There’s a chance he becomes one of Dak Prescott’s primary threats on the outside after the great connection they showed the last two seasons. However, Butler is not a highly-recommended fantasy pickup at the moment, with the Cowboys having a low-volume passing attack.
