Join now >Kaelin Clay (ankle) will not return against the Cowboys.
It’s unclear when Clay was injured, but he was carted off the sideline in the first half and his night is over. Clay was returning punts for the Giants tonight, so perhaps Odell Beckham Jr. could get some time as a returner in the second half.

Corey Grant handles ten touches in win over the Patriots.
Grant rushed four times for 13 yards and caught six passes for 56 yards. The dynamic backup saw extended run with Leonard Fournette (hamstring) on the shelf, and he took advantage as a dangerous outlet receiver for Blake Bortles. Grant would be worth a look in all leagues based on his big-play ability if Fournette misses another game, but we’d bet on him suiting up against Tennessee.

Donte Moncrief (knee) has returned against the Patriots.
Moncrief was called questionable because of a knee injury, but he’s back in there in the fourth quarter.

Cordarrelle Patterson gets four touches against the Jaguars.
Patterson had three receptions for 18 yards and one carry for five yards in the Week 2 loss. The carry was on a traditional handoff from the running back position, so maybe we’ll see Patterson used there more moving forward. The explosive Patterson is a solid real-life contributor for New England, but he’s difficult to trust in fantasy lineups.

LeGarrette Blount was ejected in Week 2.
Matthew Stafford was just hit on the sideline, and Blount stepped a foot onto the field and shoved the Niners player that hit Stafford. This was just a case of defending a quarterback and is unlikely to earn him any further discipline from the league or the team. Before leaving, Blount split time with Kerryon Johnson, carrying eight times for 38 yards while adding one reception for -3 yards. He’s a risky FLEX option against the Patriots next week.

James White leads New England in Week 2 receiving.
As usual, White was a very reliable underneath target for Tom Brady, catching seven-of-eight targets for 73 yards against a stingy Jacksonville defense. He also added four carries for 11 rushing yards. It’ll be interesting to see how White is used in a chess match against former Patriots defensive coordinator Matt Patricia and the Lions next Sunday night. Even with Sony Michel now in the fold, White’s role as a receiver appears to be locked in.

Donte Moncrief (knee) is questionable to return against the Patriots.
It’s unclear when Moncrief was injured, so hopefully he can return to the game soon. Moncrief caught a touchdown on an end-zone fade earlier.
