The Jaguars released Rashad Greene Sr.

Jacksonville had to promote Brandon Wilds from the practice squad with Leonard Fournette (hamstring) hurt, and the release of Greene is a corresponding move, so perhaps the Jaguars will bring Greene back soon. Greene was a 2015 fifth-round pick of the Jags.

The Jaguars have activated running back Brandon Wilds from the practice squad, according to Ian Rapoport.

This is probably a sign that Leonard Fournette isn’t expected to suit up. The South Carolina product is unlikely to see many snaps behind T.J. Yeldon and Corey Grant, so he can be ignored for fantasy purposes.

The Patriots cut Bennie Fowler, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Fowler just signed with the team earlier this week, so this was a quick stay for him. He has the ability to contribute on both offense and special teams, so other teams should be interested quickly.

Doug Baldwin (knee) has officially been ruled out for Week 2.

Baldwin is supposed to be out a couple of weeks with his MCL sprain, but the Seahawks haven’t given an exact timetable. Consider Baldwin week-to-week for now. Tyler Lockett and Brandon Marshall both have a decent shot at 10+ targets on Monday night against the Bears.

Sammie Coates (hamstring) has been ruled out for Week 2.

Coates was limited in practice all week, and the Texans decided to leave him home before their trip to Tennessee to face the Titans. We’ll see if Coates is ready to go for Week 3, but he’s off the fantasy radar, especially with Will Fuller expected back in the lineup.

The Texans have downgraded the rookie receiver out before their trip to Tennessee. Consider Koutee week-to-week as he looks to make his NFL debut.

Seth DeValve (hamstring) has been ruled out for Week 2.

Cleveland just decided to rule out DeValve, Josh Gordon, and Christian Kirksey today instead of waiting for tomorrow. DeValve was not on the fantasy radar for Week 2.
