Join now >The Titans released Matt Barkley.
Barkley was signed this offseason to be the backup for Ryan Tannehill, but the nod is going to Logan Woodside after the summer. This cut coming after the 53-man roster deadline probably indicates that the Titans would like to bring the veteran Barkley back on the practice squad.

Tanner Hudson is signing with the 49ers practice squad.
The Niners also brought back Jordan Matthews on the practice squad, so they are adding depth at tight end on the taxi group. Hudson was cut by Chicago yesterday.

The Bears signed Ryan Nall to the practice squad.
Nall will continue to serve as depth at running back for the Bears, but he’ll do it by beginning this season on the practice squad and is off the fantasy radar for now.

The Seahawks are signing Jake Luton, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
A sixth-round pick of the Jaguars last year, Luton will be the team’s No. 3 quarterback behind Russell Wilson and Geno Smith. Seattle will obviously hope he never needs to see the field as they compete in a tough NFC West.

The Panthers released David Moore.
Moore falls victim to the post-cut-day roster cuts, but he shouldn’t take long to land with another team. Perhaps his former Seahawks squad will be interested in bringing him back as an outside deep threat.

The Cowboys are signing Ben DiNucci to the practice squad.
While one of the players featured on this year’s Hard Knocks didn’t make the final roster, being signed to the practice squad is a positive. DiNucci will continue to learn under Mike McCarthy and company after he had some playing experience last season.

The Broncos are cutting Royce Freeman.
Freeman made the Broncos roster, but the team is now moving on to create roster space. Freeman has played well through three seasons with the Broncos, and there are some potential landing spots where the former third-round pick could provide some fantasy value in 2021. Denver is very deep at running back with Melvin Gordon, Javonte Williams, and Mike Boone.
