Join now >The Dolphins are releasing Gavin Escobar, according to Ian Rapoport.
Miami needed a roster spot to sign center Travis Swanson, so Escobar is being released. The former second-round pick will look to resurface elsewhere, but he’s unlikely to become a fantasy option. He was just depth with the Dolphins.

Jeremy Hill has a torn ACL, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
This is really tough to hear, as Hill was in a good spot in New England one a one-year prove-it deal and this is now a major setback for the 25-year-old (26 in October). The former second-rounder was doing everything the Patriots asked of him, including play on special teams, where he blocked a punt in yesterday’s game. He also seemed to be working his way into a nice role as a ball-carrier for the Patriots, too. Now, Rex Burkhead is the clear lead ball-carrier, and it’ll likely stay that way at least until Sony Michel (knee) gets on the field and works his way into a role. We wish Hill luck on his recover from this knee injury, and we hope to see him back and better than ever in 2019.

Mike Vrabel says things are “looking OK” for Marcus Mariota’s health.
Mariota left yesterday’s game against the Dolphins on a couple of separate occasions, and they both had to do with him taking a late hit from Dolphins defensive end William Hayes on a hand off. It was called an elbow injury for Mariota, but hopefully he escaped without it being anything too serious. Consider Mariota on the good side of 50/50 for Week 2 against the Texans, but we’ll get more information as the week progresses.

MyCole Pruitt signed with the Titans.
This is a corresponding move with the team placing Delanie Walker (ankle) on injured reserve. Pruitt was signed off Houston’s practice squad, where he initially made the 53-man roster earlier this year but was then waived and landed on the practice squad. Pruitt isn’t on the fantasy radar at the moment.

The Titans placed Delanie Walker (ankle) on injured reserve.
Walker suffered a disclosed ankle and a fracture in yesterday’s loss to the Dolphins, and his season is likely over. There’s a chance the Titans bring Walker back as a designated-to-return player, but it doesn’t seem very likely given the nature of the injury. Walker is a four-time team captain that’s been highly productive for the Titans, so this is a big blow to both the offense and team team as a whole. We wish Walker luck in his recovery from this injury. 2017 third-round pick Jonnu Smith is the next man up for the Titans at tight end, and he has a chance to deliver TE1 value this season.

Davante Adams scores in Packers’ Week 1 win.
Adams had an excellent game to star the season, catching five-of-eight targets for 88 yards and a touchdown against the Bears. Early in the game, Adams appeared to be grabbing at his hamstring, but thankfully he returned to the game quickly. His long reception of the game was for 51 yards on a catch-and-run after a nice catch down the left sideline, and the touchdown was a 12-yarder after a sweet juke and burst toward the end zone by Adams. He’ll probably see a lot of Xavier Rhodes in Week 2 against the Vikings, but Adams is still a solid option in fantasy lineups.

Geronimo Allison catches 39-yard touchdown in amazing comeback victory.
Allison was on the receiving end of a dime from a hobbled Aaron Rodgers in the fourth quarter, and he finished with a 5/69/1 line in the 24-23 win against Chicago. He is better left on the bench next week against Minnesota, but Allison could have FLEX value if Rodgers is on the field in any capacity most weeks.
