Join now >Dak Prescott, Cowboys struggle offensively in 16-8 loss to the Panthers.
Prescott went 19/29 for 170 yards, zero touchdowns, and zero interceptions, also adding five carries for 19 yards and a lost fumble. Besides connecting with Cole Beasley seven times for 73 yards, Dak struggled to get going with his other receivers. The spotlight will be on next week when Dallas hosts the rival Giants on Sunday Night Football, and Prescott is difficult to trust as anything more than a low-end QB2 option.

Allen Hurns catches 20-yard pass in team debut.
It was Hurns’ only reception of the game. Dallas needs a lot more out of the former Jaguar and the rest of the weapons if they want to compete for a division title this year. We’ll see if they improve next Sunday night against the Giants, but Hurns should stay on the bench or waiver wire.

Devontae Booker gets four touches in Week 1.
Booker carried twice for four rushing yards and caught tow passes for 11 receiving yards. While Booker works in on third downs, he appears to be the clear No. 3 running back behind Royce Freeman and Phillip Lindsay based on Week 1. Booker does not need to be owned in standard-sized fantasy leagues.

DaeSean Hamilton doesn’t catch a pass in NFL debut.
The fourth-round rookie receiver from Penn State didn’t catch a pass, but he received some time on offense for the Broncos. The future is bright for Hamilton, but he’s not a fantasy option at the moment.

Royce Freeman gets 15 carries in rookie debut.
The third-round pick from Oregon ran well against the Seahawks, gaining 71 rushing yards on his 15 attempts. However, undrafted rookie Phillip Lindsay got hot and worked his way into 15 carries and two receptions (including a touchdown) of his own, which meant less work for Freeman. Meanwhile, Devontae Booker takes a lot of passing-down work from Freeman already. Freeman isn’t in much danger of not being Denver’s leading ball-carrier this season, though, and he remains a solid option in fantasy lineups for Week 2.
9/10/18 - 01:02 PM ET
Deonte Thompson caught three passes for 27 yards in Sunday’s loss to the Panthers.
Thompson was the team’s leading receiver behind Cole Beasley (seven receptions for 73 yards), which speaks to the lack of weapons for Dallas. The veteran isn’t a recommended fantasy option.

Travis Benjamin catches one pass in Week 1 defeat.
It went for one yard, and Benjamin dropped two passes, both of which might have been touchdowns. The speedster will be no more than a lottery ticket in deeper leagues when the Chargers take on the Bills next Sunday.
