Amendola only had a long of eight yards as an underneath option for Ryan Tannehill, but the Titans paid by allowing Kenny Stills to get deep in the fourth quarter. Miami’s slot receiver will look to have a bigger impact next week against the Texans, and he’s on the FLEX radar in PPR leagues.

Tom Brady tosses three touchdowns as the Patriots move to 1-0.
Brady looked as sharp as usual to open the 2018 season, as he slid around the pocket and made pinpoint throws all afternoon against the Texans. Brady was 26/39 for 277 passing yards, three passing touchdowns, and one interception, and he also added a two-yard carry to gain a first down on a quarterback sneak. Brady’s first touchdown was on a perfect back-shoulder throw to Rob Gronkowski, who was being doubled. The second was on a 12-yard pass to James White. And the third was on an out-breaking route in the end zone to Phillip Dorsett. The interception came on a pass that was deflected at the line of scrimmage and went into Tyrann Mathieu’s hands. Brady gets a tough matchup against the Jaguars in Week 2, but the gamelan in last year’s AFC Championship Game called for the Pats spreading the field an passing the ball around. Expect something similar in Week 2.

Jakeem Grant has 102-yard kick return touchdown in Week 1 win.
Grant, who actually drew a start at receiver with the team going with four starters at the position, helped spark the Dolphins’ 27-20 win over the Titans. On offense, Grant caught five passes for 38 yards. He will likely remain involved until DeVante Parker (finger) returns, but Grant is probably too big-play dependent to rely on as a fantasy option.

Jordan Akins catches two passes in NFL debut.
The 26-year-old third-round rookie from UCF gained 11 yards on his two receptions against the Patriots. Akins has upside, but he’s not a highly-recommended fantasy option quite yet.
9/10/18 - 09:33 AM ET
Kenny Stills goes off in Week 1 victory.
Stills was contained for most of the game, but he and the Dolphins exploded for 17 points in the fourth quarter, with the highlight being a beautiful deep ball from Ryan Tannehill for a 75-yard touchdown. The deep threat finished with four receptions for 106 yards and two scores, with the other coming on a quick out from ten yards away in the first half. Stills should again be worth a start next week against a Jets team that he stung for 85 yards and two touchdowns last October.
9/10/18 - 09:33 AM ET
Tyler Ervin catches one pass in Week 1.
Ervin gained 12 yards on his lone reception, and he also returned kicks and punts for the Texans. He’s not a fantasy option outside of leagues that count return yardage for points.
9/10/18 - 09:31 AM ET
Jordan Thomas catches one pass against the Patriots.
The sixth-round rookie tight end showed his big-play ability in his first NFL game, gaining 27 yards on his lone reception. Thomas is someone to keep an eye on, but he’s not a recommended fantasy starter at the moment.
