Join now >Albert Wilson handles five touches in win over the Titans.
Wilson caught three passes for 31 yards and rushed twice for seven yards. We can probably expect a similar weekly output all year, even when DeVante Parker (finger) returns, so Wilson will be a better real-life player than fantasy option.

Bruce Ellington scores in Week 1.
Ellington caught four-of-eight targets for 37 yards and a touchdown against the Patriots, with the score putting Houston within one possession with over two minutes to go in the game. Ellington faces the Titans in Week 2.

Kenyan Drake held in check as Dolphins pickup a victory in their season opener.
Drake rushed 14 times for 48 yards, also adding three receptions for 18 yards. The dynamic back basically doubled up Frank Gore’s touches, but the veteran actually led the team with 61 yards on the ground. Still, fantasy owners would be unwise to overreact to one week, and Drake remains a high-upside RB2 play heading into a matchup with the Jets.

DeAndre Hopkins catches eight passes in Texans’ loss.
Hopkins had the tough task of dealing with a Bill Belichick defense to open the season, and they did a pretty nice job limiting the All-Pro receiver. Hopkins, who had to contest with Stephon Gilmore for much of the game, had eight receptions (on 11 targets) for 78 receiving yards along with one carry for -7 rushing yards. Hopkins must remain in fantasy lineups in Week 2 against the Titans.

Frank Gore looks good in season opener.
Gore rushed nine times for a team-high 61 yards, including a long run of 21 yards. The ageless wonder was out-touched by Kenyan Drake (17 to nine), but it wouldn’t be surprising to see him push for 12-15 touches in the coming weeks. Still, Drake is clearly the back to own, and Gore will be a volatile play as he relies on efficiency. He will try to keep it going next week against the Jets.

Alfred Blue scores in Week 1 loss.
As he did last season, Blue worked in the Texans backfield and delivered some juice off the bench as a strong downhill runner. Blue carried five times for 36 yards and a touchdown while working behind starter Lamar Miller. Blue isn’t a recommended fantasy option in standard-sized leagues as long as Miller remains healthy, but he’s a very good contributor for the Texans.

Lamar Miller gets 21 touches to open the season.
Miller carried 20 times for 98 rushing yards while adding one reception for 11 receiving yards in the Texans’ loss to the Patriots. Overall, Miller ran well, but so did teammate Alfred Blue, who mixed in for five carries for 36 yards and a touchdown. There’s some concern with Blue eating into his touches, particularly in short-yardage situations, but Miller will remain a high-floor option next week against the Titans.
