Join now >Jakeem Grant has cleared concussion protocol.
The third-year receiver is ready to go against the Titans. With DeVante Parker (finger) set to miss Week 1, Grant should have a solid role on offense along with Kenny Stills, Danny Amendola, and Albert Wilson. Grant is also expected to be Miami’s primary returner, so those in leagues that give points for returns should consider him in lineups.

Carson Wentz (knee) might miss several weeks, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Rapoport just said this on NFL Network, adding that we might not see Wentz on the field until October. As Rapoport notes, the Eagles are being cautious with their franchise quarterback—which is obviously the smart move for his long-term future. There’s been chatter about the nature of Wentz’s injury being so bad that he wouldn’t be himself this season, and this report basically falls in line with that. Nick Foles will obviously be under-center tonight against the Falcons to open the season, and he could remain the team’s starter indefinitely.

The Dolphins placed MarQueis Gray on injured reserve.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport says it’s a torn Achilles suffered in yesterday’s practice for Gray, so he’s unfortunately out for the season. Gray was a solid contributor to the Dolphins despite it not showing up in the stat sheet.

Marshawn Lynch (groin) was limited in practice today.
Lynch is expected to be fine for Week 1, but this groin issue is just something to keep in mind for the 32-year-old running back.

The Dolphins signed Gavin Escobar.
Escobar was released by Miami last week, but he’s back as a corresponding move after the team placed tight end MarQueis Gray on injured reserve. Escobar is a good veteran presence, but he’s not on the fantasy radar right now.

DeAndre Washington (knee) did not practice today.
Washington is still recovery from arthroscopic knee surgery from last month, and it’s unlikely he’ll play on Monday night against the Rams. We’ll update you with his practice status tomorrow.

Samaje Perine is not on the Week 1 injury report.
The second-year running back is ready to go against the Cardinals, but Adrian Peterson is listed as the starting running back for the Redskins. Perine might be able to work his way into the lead role, but he’s hard to trust in fantasy lineups to open the year.
