Join now >The Cowboys have cut running back Bo Scarbrough, according to multiple reports.
Dallas took a chance on the Alabama product in the seventh round of April’s draft, but he didn’t show enough to stick around. Some have compared Scarbrough to Derrick Henry, but we haven’t seen that. He will hope to get looks elsewhere as depth, but Scarbrough might also sign with the Cowboys practice squad.

Kalen Ballage is starting for the Dolphins tonight.
Ballage has cleared concussion protocol and is playing in the preseason finale against the Falcons. The fourth-round running back missed the last two preseason games with his concussion, and he’ll look to play well tonight ahead of the start of the regular season.

The Redskins have cut running back Kapri Bibbs, according to Ian Rapoport.
Bibbs has flashed since entering the league, but the team simply doesn’t have room for him behind Chris Thompson, Adrian Peterson, Robert Kelley, and Samaje Perine. This move probably means that Washington is very confident about Thompson’s health. Bibbs turned 25 earlier this year and should resurface soon.

The Patriots have given Rob Gronkowski a pay increase.
According to multiple reports, the Patriots have increased the max value of Gronkowski’s contract to $13.3 million, which makes him the highest paid tight end in the NFL. The next year of Gronkowski’s deal is unaffected by this, but perhaps the two sides will work out an extension after the season. This does nothing to affect the All-Pros fantasy value for 2018. He remains the top tight end option in fantasy drafts.

The Ravens are waiving Breshad Perriman, according to multiple reports.
The former first-round pick with elite speed dealt with some injuries and inconsistency through his first three NFL seasons and was unable to make the cut in a revamped receiving corps this year. A fresh start might be best for Perriman at this point, and he’ll get a shot soon—perhaps with another team claiming him off waivers.

Josh Rosen (thumb) will not play in Arizona’s final preseason game, according to NFL Network’s Steve Wyche.
The Cardinals are being cautious with their first-round rookie quarterback, opting not to put him out there while dealing with a thumb injury on his right throwing hand. Now it’s possible Rosen doesn’t get any more game experience in 2018 if Sam Bradford remains healthy all season. Rosen is obviously not on the fantasy radar at the moment.

The Vikings are releasing Kendall Wright.
Wright signed this offseason and was thought to have a chance at a big role in the slot, but the emergence of third-year receiver Laquon Treadwell allowed the Vikings to move on from Wright. It’ll be Adam Thielen, Stefon Diggs, and Treadwell as Minnesota’s top-three receivers to open the year.
