Bo Scarbrough (hip) is questionable to return to tonight’s preseason game.

The seventh-round rookie went to the locker room, so it’d be a surprise if he returns tonight. Before leaving, Scarbrough had four carries for -4 yards and one reception for nine yards.

Tyrod Taylor (hand) has returned to tonight’s preseason game.

After Taylor suffered an ugly looking left hand/wrist injury in the first quarter, the left wrist was wrapped and he has returned to the game. Taylor is toughing this one out, and there’s no reason to believe he won’t be under-center in Week 1 against the Steelers.

Tyler Lockett will not play in tomorrow’s preseason game against the Chargers.

Lockett had an injury scare in practice the other day, but it isn’t anything serious. Still, the Seahawks are being precautious by holding Lockett out tomorrow night. Expect Lockett to suit up in next week’s third preseason game versus Minnesota.

Tyrod Taylor suffers apparent left wrist injury in preseason game against the Eagles.

On a fourth-and-goal attempt from the one-yard line, Taylor rolled to the left and threw a pass before falling down and appearing to suffer an ugly-looking wrist/hand injury while he went to the ground. The good news is the injury was to Taylor’s left arm instead of his throwing throwing arm, but this could be a serious injury. Expect Taylor’s night to be over, which means No. 1 pick Baker Mayfield is going to enter the game and likely get extensive time with the first team.

Xavier Grimble is getting surgery on his thumb/wrist, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.

Fowler says Grimble has a ligament injury in that thumb/wrist area, so he’s getting surgery to repair it. Grimble will miss a few weeks, but there is some hope that he’ll be ready to go for Week 1. However, Pittsburgh’s first game is just over three weeks away, so it’s going to be a close call. Grimble was off the fantasy radar anyway, but the Steelers are getting thin at tight end with starter Vance McDonald still out because of a foot injury.

Antonio Callaway (groin) is not playing in tonight’s preseason game against the Eagles.

The rookie might play in next week’s preseason finale, but we might not see him again until the regular season. Josh Gordon’s return complicates things a bit, but we expect Callaway will be a top-three receiver for the Browns with Gordon and Jarvis Landry. He’s a talented player with upside in the late rounds of fantasy drafts.

Samaje Perine (ankle) is likely to miss at least a week, according to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.

Perine was injured on a 30-yard run in last night’s preseason game versus the Jets. This obviously puts the second-year back in jeopardy for the critical third preseason game next Friday against the Broncos, which could give Rob Kelley the opportunity to run away with the early-down role. Perine is now likely to go toward the end of almost every fantasy draft, but he could provide solid late-round value if he emerges after his return.
