Join now >Chris Ivory is signing with the Bills, according to multiple reports.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport says it’ll be a two-year deal for the former Saints, Jets, and Jaguars running back. Ivory will immediately give Buffalo an excellent backup behind LeSean McCoy, which should help the soon-to-be 30-year-old McCoy remain fresh throughout the season. On the field, the pairing has a lot of upside for the Bills, though they could also be in the market for another running back in the draft. The downside fantasy-wise for McCoy is that Ivory could steal goal line carries, which could put a dent in his overall upside. Ivory will be among the best fantasy handcuffs for 2018.

The Raiders have acquired wide receiver Ryan Switzer from the Cowboys.
Oakland traded 2016 second-round pick defensive tackle Jihad Ward to Dallas in exchange for Switzer, who was drafted in the fourth round last year. After the Cowboys acquired Tavon Austin earlier today, this makes a lot of sense as Switzer does a lot of the same things Austin does. Switzer will join a Raiders receiving group that also added Martavis Bryant yesterday, so the team is clearly trying to put as many players around quarterback Derek Carr as they can. He could get some time on the slot on offense this season, but he’s likely to mostly help on special teams as a returner and is not yet a recommended fantasy option.

The Raiders exercised Amari Cooper’s fifth-year option.
Despite Cooper’s disappointing and surprising third season last year, this was fully expected to happen. Now Jon Gruden and the Raiders have Cooper under contract for the next two seasons. Gruden has already said he plans to make Cooper the focal point of the team’s offense, so he has major bounce-back potential in his fourth year in the league.

The Steelers have selected Oklahoma State wide receiver James Washington with the No. 60 pick (second round) in the 2018 NFL Draft.
Given the Steelers history of drafting wide receivers, it’s a good sign that they like Washington enough to draft him in the second round. After Pittsburgh traded Martavis Bryant to the Raiders last night, there’s probably going to be a competition for the third receiver spot behind Antonio Brown and JuJu Smith-Schuster, and Washington should have a good shot at winning the spot. In college, Washington was extremely productive and was seen as a preseason Heisman candidate heading into his senior season. He had 226 receptions for 4,472 yards, and 39 touchdowns during his prolific career in the Big 12. Washington has very long arms and is a legit deep threat despite not running a sub-4.5 40 during the pre-draft process; he might immediately do some damage in the NFL for the Steelers.

Nick Foles wins Super Bowl MVP as he leads the Eagles to their first Super Bowl victory in franchise history.
Foles continued his amazing play in Super Bowl LII, showing no nerves whatsoever against the Patriots en route to the game’s MVP honors. Foles was 28/43 for 373 yards, three passing touchdowns, and one interception, and he also added a one-yard touchdown reception on a trick play on fourth-and-goal late in the first half on what was one of the plays of the game. The interception was on a pass that went of Alshon Jeffery’s arms and deflected right to Patriots safety Duron Harmon. Foles’ first touchdown was to Alshon Jeffery on a 34-yard touchdown where he made a very nice throw to the end zone and gave his big receiver a chance to make a play—something Foles does a good job of. He then threw a 22-yard touchdown to Corey Clement on an absolute dime in the end zone into tight coverage, and then the go-ahead score to Zach Ertz on a slant route with 2:21 to go in the game. Foles played with ice in his veins throughout the entire postseason, but it wasn’t just a lucky streak—throughout his career, Foles has shown he can play quarterback at a high level. While we know he can get it done on what is a very good team, there won’t be a quarterback controversy in Philadelphia, and the question becomes whether the Eagles decide to trade him if a team makes an enticing offer this offseason. No matter what happens, Foles will always be a legend for the Eagles after helping lead the team to its first Super Bowl win.

The Raiders have selected Oklahoma State wide receiver Marcell Ateman with the 228th pick (seventh round) of the 2018 NFL Draft.
The Raiders already acquired Martavis Bryant from the Steelers to team up with Amari Cooper and Jordy Nelson, but Marcell Ateman could be an absolute steal in the seventh round. We have compared him to former first-round pick Michael Floyd, who was having a nice career before off-field issues derailed things, as Ateman has the ability to be physical and run clean routes for a six-foot-five target. Obviously, he would need an injury to see playing time in 2018, but Ateman is in a good spot with Jon Gruden in Oakland and could be a steal in dynasty leagues.

The Buccaneers re-signed running back Charles Sims, according to Rick Stroud.
Stroud says it’s a one-year deal for the 2014 third-round pick of the Bucs. Sims has proven to be a very capable receiver through his first four NFL seasons, and he’ll look to have a solid role as one of Jameis Winston’s targets this season. The re-signing of Sims should have little effect on what Tampa Bay does in the draft at the running back position.
