Join now >Jaron Brown is signing with the Seahawks, according to Ian Rapoport.
The former Cardinals receiver is signing with a division rival, and he should have a chance to compete for a sizable role in Seattle’s offense. Despite tearing his ACL in 2016, Brown is coming off the best season of his career after he caught 31 passes for 477 yards and four touchdowns last season. He could be sneaky a late-round fantasy option in 2018 fantasy drafts if his role is big enough for the Seahawks.

Teddy Bridgewater “definitely” sees himself as a starter in 2018.
Bridgewater said there is “no question” when asked about it by reporters, but he added it might not be in Minnesota. Obviously, you would expect nothing less than a competitor like Bridgewater, who’s had his last two years derailed by the knee injury suffered in practice before the start of the 2016 regular season. The quarterback situation for Minnesota is very much up in the air, with Bridgewater, Sam Bradford, and Case Keenum all set to become free agents; it’ll probably be the most interesting situation to watch this offseason. We certainly believe Bridgewater is a very good starting option despite not having played meaningful football for over two years, and it wouldn’t be surprising if the Vikings opted to keep him as their starter for 2018.

LeGarrette Blount is signing with the Lions, according to Ian Rapoport.
Rapoport says it’s a one-year deal worth $4.5 million for Blount, who is reunited with Lions head coach Matt Patricia, who was the defensive coordinator during Blount’s time in New England. Ameer Abdullah and Theo Riddick are both still in Detroit’s backfield, but Blount is probably going to be inserted right into the starting lineup and could get a heavy workload for the Lions. The offensive line of the Lions must block well for Blount the running backs to have success, which hasn’t happened over the last several years. The defensive-minded Patricia would probably love a strong run game powered by Blount, though.

New Vikings offensive coordinator John DeFilippo says he “loved” Dalvin Cook coming out of the draft.
The team’s new OC made it clear he liked Florida State’s all-time leading rusher when he came out of the draft last year, telling reporters, “Personally, I loved Dalvin Cook coming out of that draft. I loved him. I knew he was a very special player.” It sounds like Cook is a big reason DeFilippo found the Vikings’ job appealing, and the running back will likely be utilized a lot for Minnesota. Cook is coming off a torn ACL, but he’s expected to be at 100% well before the start of the regular season. Latavius Murray’s presence is also a slight concern after how well he played for the Vikings in 2017 when he got into a rhythm, but Cook will be the starter and is likely to get a sizable workload in 2018.

The Patriots are signing running back Jeremy Hill, according to Field Yates.
With Dion Lewis gone to the Titans, the Patriots are adding the former Bengals running back to the backfield mix. Despite starting games he played in last season, Hill was basically relegated to a part-time player after the Bengals added Joe Mixon in the second round of last year’s draft; and Hill was eventually placed on injured reserve with an ankle injury. But in Hill’s first three NFL seasons, he had 29 rushing touchdowns (at least nine each season), proving to be one of the league’s best converters at the goal line. He won’t be handed anything in New England, but Hill should have a real shot at carving out a large role as a powerful ball-carrier for the Patriots. Bill Belichick has no concerns about your fantasy team (as he shouldn’t), so this backfield could be a total nightmare from a fantasy perspective—but Hill will offer obvious touchdown upside in drafts this summer.

Brent Celek doesn’t catch a pass in NFC Championship victory.
The veteran tight end won’t care that he didn’t catch a pass, as the longest tenured Eagle will be heading to Super Bowl LII to face the Patriots. Celek is a sleeper to make an impact in the Big Game in a couple of weeks.

The Vikings have released wide receiver Jarius Wright.
Wright spent each of his first six NFL season with the Vikings after the team selected him in the fourth round of the 2012 draft and had some solid seasons with them, but he was phased out of the offense a bit over the past two seasons. During his six years in Minnesota, Wright caught 153 passes for 2,039 yards and ten touchdowns. Wright is only 28 and will certainly draw interest from other clubs.
