Russell Shepard | Retired WR

Russell Shepard doesn’t catch a pass in Panthers’ playoff loss.

Shepard was targeted on a pass over the middle where it looked like he might have been interfered with, but the officials didn’t throw the flag. Shepard is a good player to chip in on offense and special teams, but he’s not a recommended 2018 fantasy option.

Taywan Taylor | Free Agent WR

Taywan Taylor gets one touch in Titans’ win.

Taylor had a four-yard reception in the first half of the Wild Card win against Kansas City. The rookie receiver’s role isn’t big enough for him to be a recommended fantasy playoff option next weekend.

Ed Dickson | Free Agent TE

Ed Dickson held to one reception in loss to the Saints.

It went for three yards. Dickson also committed a drop on a pass that was a little out of reach that he probably should have extended his route for. The veteran tight end enters free agency this offseason, but there’s a good chance he’s back in Carolina. If so, he won’t be a fantasy option behind Greg Olsen.

Jonnu Smith | Dolphins TE

Jonnu Smith catches two passes in playoff win against the Chiefs.

Smith gained 15 yards on his two receptions (four targets), but he did have a bad drop on a pass over the middle that thankfully didn’t come back to hurt the Titans in the Wild Card victory. He’ll chip in on offense in the Divisional Round against the Patriots or Steelers next weekend.

1/6/18 - 08:12 PM ET

Brenton Bersin | Panthers WR

Brenton Bersin catches two passes in Wild Card Round.

Bersin gained 27 yards on his two receptions, working as a reliable target for Cam Newton on shallow crossing routes. The 2012 undrafted free agent seemed to always stepped up when called upon for the Panthers this season, and he seems likely to remain with the team in 2018.

1/7/18 - 08:16 PM ET

Demarcus Robinson | 49ers WR

Demarcus Robinson comes up big in playoff loss.

Robinson caught four passes for 57 yards and a touchdown, doing almost all of his damage on the final drive of the fist half for Kansas City. Unfortunately, they couldn’t keep a 21-3 halftime lead, as Tennessee scored 19 unanswered points to upset the Chiefs in Arrowhead. Andy Reid’s team needs some help at wide receiver next season, so Robinson probably won’t be any higher than third or fourth or the depth chart, making him an unattractive target in fantasy drafts later this year.

1/6/18 - 08:12 PM ET

Willie Snead | 49ers WR

Willie Snead held to one reception in win over Carolina.

It went for seven yards. Snead hasn’t had the impact this season that he did in 2016, but he will look to make some plays next week against the Vikings.
