Isaiah Crowell | Raiders RB

Isaiah Crowell gets shutdown in season finale.

Crowell rushed 15 times for just 21 yards. An unrestricted free agent this offseason, the 24-year-old disappointed with 206 attempts for 853 yards (4.1 yards per carry) and two touchdowns in 2017. Crowell was pegged for a breakout behind an improved offensive line, but the truth is that he’s not a difference-making NFL talent. He will look to strike a nice deal on the open market, but it’s more likely that he settles for a backup role than it is he becomes a bonafide starter and fantasy option. We’d avoid him wherever he lands in 2018.

David Morgan II | Free Agent TE

Davis Morgan catches three passes in Vikings’ win.

Morgan gained 35 yards on his three receptions, including a nice one-handed snag on a quick out route. Morgan will look to contribute as both a blocker and receiver for the Vikings in the postseason.

12/31/17 - 10:34 PM ET

Adam Thielen | Panthers WR

Adam Thielen catches six passes in Week 17.

Thielen gained 61 yards on his six receptions. His final stat line for 2017 was 91 receptions for 1,276 yards and four touchdowns, as he took his breakout 2016 and took it to another level this year. He should make some big plays in the postseason for the Vikings.

12/31/17 - 10:33 PM ET

Stefon Diggs | Patriots WR

Stefon Diggs scores against Chicago.

Diggs caught six passes for 65 yards and a touchdown in the Week 17 victory, with the score coming on an in-breaking route to the post. Diggs put up a 64/849/8 stat line this season, and he missed a couple games with his groin injury that hampered him a bit earlier in the year. Diggs will now look to make an impact in the postseason for Minnesota.

12/31/17 - 10:32 PM ET

Jerick McKinnon | Free Agent RB

Jerick McKinnon gets 12 carries in Week 17.

McKinnon gained 44 yards on his 12 attempts. After Dalvin Cook (ACL) went down in Week 4, McKinnon and Latavius Murray have formed an excellent backfield tandem for the Vikings and will look to continue it in the postseason. McKinnon ended up with 150 carries for 570 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns along with 51 receptions for 421 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns.

12/31/17 - 10:30 PM ET

DeShone Kizer | Free Agent QB

DeShone Kizer, Browns fall to 0-16 with 28-24 loss to the Steelers.

Kizer was 16/30 for 314 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. He also rushed six times for 61 yards. It was probably the best game of the season for the rookie quarterback, but he showed inexcusable immaturity issues at the end of the game when he acted like a crybaby when Corey Coleman’s drop essentially ended things. Kizer’s season ends with 15 starts where he completed 53.6% of his passes for 2,894 yards, 11 touchdowns, and a league-high 22 interceptions. He also rushed 77 times for 419 yards and five scores, but fumbled nine times (lost six). It would be a surprise if the Browns didn’t go after a quarterback with one of their top-four picks in April’s draft, but if Kizer returns as the starter with an improved supporting cast, he has theoretical upside as a fantasy option in 2018 on a roster that doesn’t lack talent.

12/31/17 - 10:30 PM ET

Latavius Murray | Free Agent RB

Latavius Murray plays great in Vikings’ win.

“L-Train” continues his stellar play heading to the postseason, as he carried 20 times for 111 yards and two touchdowns while adding a three-yard reception against the Bears. Murray has simply been great since taking over for Dalvin Cook, who went down with a torn ACL in Week 4. His first regular season in Minnesota ends with 216 carries for 842 rushing yards and eight rushing touchdowns along with 15 receptions for 103 receiving yards. His physical running style should be great for the postseason, and he’ll be an important player as the Vikings look to make a Super Bowl run.
