Rob Gronkowski | Retired TE

Rob Gronkowski doesn’t catch a pass in Week 17.

This might’ve been the surprise of the week, as it didn’t appear Gronk saw a decrease in playing time whatsoever. However, the Jets clearly doubled him on many plays throughout the game and didn’t want him to beat them. Gronk’s regular season ends with 69 receptions for 1,084 yards, and eight touchdowns, and he should be named First-team All-Pro. He’ll now look to help the Pats get their third Super Bowl title in four seasons.

12/31/17 - 10:07 PM ET

Jacoby Brissett | Cardinals QB

Jacoby Brissett, Colts win 22-13 over the Texans in season finale.

Brissett was 15/25 for 114 yards, one touchdown, and no interceptions, also adding five rushes for 18 yards. In basically his first year as a starting quarterback (15 starts), Brissett completed 58.8% of his passes for 3,098 yards, 13 touchdowns, and seven interceptions. He also rushed 63 times for 260 yards and four scores. Overall, it was an impressive season, and at the very worst, the Colts have their backup of the future behind a hopefully-healthy Andrew Luck. In a worst-case scenario where Luck requires another surgery and Brissett begins 2018 as the starter, the former Patriot probably wouldn’t be worth drafting in fantasy leagues.

12/31/17 - 10:06 PM ET

Phillip Dorsett | Free Agent WR

Phillip Dorsett catches three passes in Patriots’ win.

Dorsett gained 26 yards on his three receptions in the Week 17 victory against the Jets, but he did have a drop on a perfect deep ball. The first regular season for Dorsett in New England ends with 12 receptions for 194 yards, and he’ll look to make some big plays throughout the playoffs for the Pats.

12/31/17 - 10:04 PM ET

Danny Amendola | Retired WR

Danny Amendola catches four passes in Week 17.

Amendola gained 43 yards on his four receptions, and his regular season ends with 61 receptions for 659 yards and two touchdowns. Amendola was a bigger part of the offense early in the season, but they might have been preserving him a bit for the postseason. Expect him to have a big role as a chain-mover as the Pats attempt to defend their Super Bowl crown.

12/31/17 - 10:03 PM ET

Brandin Cooks | Saints WR

Brandin Cooks scores against the Jets.

Cooks was the frequent target of Tom Brady on deep balls throughout the regular season finale, drawing some pass interference and holding penalties in the win. The speedy receiver had five receptions for 79 yards and a touchdown, with the score coming on a crossing route where he was wide open after a couple of defenders collided. Cooks’ first regular season in New England ends with a 65/1,082/7 stat line, as he set a career-high in yards per reception (16.6 yards). He’ll now get his first taste of the playoffs this January.

12/31/17 - 10:01 PM ET

Brandon Bolden | Free Agent RB

Brandon Bolden gets work on offense in Week 17.

With all of Rex Burkhead (knee), James White (ankle), and Mike Gillislee (knee) out, Bolden worked behind Dion Lewis in the backfield for the Pats. Bolden had nine carries for 46 rushing yards along with one reception for seven yards. He’ll be a key contributor on special teams for New England the postseason.

12/31/17 - 09:58 PM ET

Dion Lewis | Free Agent RB

Dion Lewis stays hot in Week 17 win.

Lewis continues to play lights out football for the Patriots, taking over as a great workhorse in the backfield for them. He had 26 carries for 93 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown along with six receptions for 40 receiving yards and one receiving touchdown. His regular season ends with 180 carries for 896 rushing yards and six rushing touchdowns along with 32 receptions for 214 receiving yards and three receiving touchdowns. It was by far his best regular season, and many that had him on their fantasy team probably won the title in their league. Lewis should be a major weapon for New England in the postseason.
