Paul Perkins | Free Agent RB

Paul Perkins handles four touches in Week 17 win.

Perkins rushed three times for seven yards and caught an 11-yard pass. A starter to begin 2017, Perkins will probably have his work cut out for him to make the Giants next summer after averaging just 2.2 yards per carry on 41 attempts this season. It was quickly clear that Wayne Gallman, Shane Vereen, and Orleans Darkwa were all better options than the former fifth-round pick, and there’s probably a good chance he’s elsewhere in 2018 with Ben McAdoo gone.

Corey Clement | Free Agent RB

Corey Clement gets one touch against the Cowboys.

Clement had zero yards on one carry. The undrafted rookie had 74 carries for 321 rushing yards and four rushing touchdowns along with ten receptions for 123 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns this season, as he proved to be a very good member of the RBBC in Philadelphia. He’ll be a key member of the offense in the playoffs.

Wendell Smallwood | Steelers RB

Wendell Smallwood gets seven touches in Eagles’ loss.

With Jay Ajayi inactive to rest for the postseason, Smallwood was active and got some work against the Cowboys. He carried four times for six yards and added three receptions for 24 yards. The second-year back will likely go back to being inactive for the postseason.

Nelson Agholor | Free Agent WR

Nelson Agholor gets four touches in Week 17.

Agholor had three receptions for 11 yards and one carry for seven yards against the Cowboys. The third-year receiver had a very good regular season for the Eagles, showing the ability that made him a first-round selection in 2015. Agholor’s regular season ends with 62 receptions for 768 yards and eight touchdowns. Look for him to be a difference-maker in the playoffs.

Shane Vereen | Retired RB

Shane Vereen rushed three times for 14 yards in Sunday’s win over the Redskins.

Vereen didn’t catch a pass. It was a year to forget for New York as a whole, but the former Patriot probably had an especially hard time for the 3-13 Giants. Vereen finishes the season with 45 carries for 164 yards and 44 receptions for 253 yards, and he didn’t find the end zone for the first time in his career. A free-agent-to-be, Vereen’s fantasy status next year will depend on where he ends up and in what kind of role.

LeGarrette Blount | Retired RB

LeGarrette Blount plays in Week 17.

Jay Ajayi sat out the game, but Blount played and carried nine times for 37 yards while also adding one reception for 11 yards. This season, Blount had 173 carries for 766 yards and two touchdowns along with eight receptions for 50 yards. Blount’s punishing running style should be useful in January for Philadelphia.

12/31/17 - 09:13 PM ET

Wayne Gallman | Free Agent RB

Wayne Gallman finishes strong in Week 17 win over the Redskins.

Gallman rushed 15 times for 89 yards in an 18-10 victory. The 2017 fourth-round pick showed some potential in his first year in the league with 111 attempts for 476 yards (4.3 yards per carry) on the ground and 34 receptions for 193 yards and one touchdown through the air. It will be interesting to see what New York does in regards to their next head coach and the second-overall pick in the spring, but unless they draft Penn State’s Saquon Barkley there, Gallman should have a chance to win the starting job in 2018. He’s a definite name to monitor in dynasty leagues as a talented dual-threat.
