Jared Cook | Free Agent TE

Jared Cook catches one pass against the Eagles.

Cook gained 15 yards on his lone reception (two targets), and he also drew a penalty on a double-move deep shot. Cook only had two receptions for 14 yards in his first matchup against the Chargers, and they’re solid against opposing tight ends, so he’s not a recommended fantasy option against them next week.

Alshon Jeffery | Free Agent WR

Alshon Jeffery held without a catch in Week 16 win.

Jeffery was shadowed by Sean Smith and couldn’t get out of the tall corner’s shadow. Philly’s big-ticket acquisition was targeted just twice, as Nick Foles mostly used Zach Ertz, Nelson Agholor, and the running backs on his 38 pass attempts. The Eagles might sit Jeffery in Week 17 with the #1 seed locked up, but perhaps they want the offense to get some continuity heading into the postseason.

Lee Smith | Falcons TE

Lee Smith catches two passes against the Eagles.

Smith gained 16 yards on his two receptions, and he did have a bad holding penalty that brought back a nice run by the Raiders. Smith isn’t a recommended fantasy option right now.

Seth Roberts | Free Agent WR

Seth Roberts gets five targets against the Eagles.

Roberts’ five targets were a team high, and he caught three passes for 23 yards in Oakland’s loss. Derek Carr tried to target Roberts on a deep crossing route in the game, but the pass was severely underthrown because Carr was under some pressure. Roberts isn’t a recommended fantasy option right now.

12/26/17 - 12:02 AM ET

Nelson Agholor | Free Agent WR

Nelson Agholor caught four passes for 35 yards on Christmas Night.

Agholor was the only wide receiver to catch more than one pass, as Alshon Jeffery struggled to gain separation and Torrey Smith hasn’t been a big factor all year. The dynamic third-year player might be rested in Week 17 as the team’s biggest game-breaker for the playoffs, but we’ll see what the Eagles decide to do with the top seed in the conference locked up.

12/26/17 - 12:02 AM ET

Amari Cooper | Free Agent WR

Amari Cooper catches long touchdown against the Eagles.

Cooper is toughing out an ankle injury that’s kept him out two of the last three games, and he didn’t appear to be very limited despite the talks of him having a limited role coming into the game. The third-year receiver caught a 63-yard touchdown on a double-move that burnt Eagles cornerback Jalen Mills. Overall, Cooper had two receptions for 69 yards and a touchdown in the Christmas Night loss. There is downside to inserting Cooper into fantasy lineups at less than 100% against a tough Chargers team in Week 17.

12/26/17 - 12:00 AM ET

Zach Ertz | Commanders TE

Zach Ertz leads team in receiving as Philadelphia locks up the top seed in the NFC.

Ertz caught nine passes for 81 yards in the 19-10 win over the Raiders, but it could have been a bigger night. The star tight end was on the receiving end of a Nick Foles interception that went of his hands, but Foles missed him twice on potential scores deep in Oakland territory. Philadelphia has the luxury of resting their guys next Sunday, and Ertz will probably be one of them. If so, that would open up a nice role for Trey Burton, and he’d be a TE1 option.
