Join now >Hunter Henry has as slight kidney laceration.
Chargers head coach Anthony Lynn said Henry’s status is up in the air, but we would anticipate they play it safe with him if there is any danger of making the condition worse. For now, don’t expect Henry to be out there for Week 16, which would lead to more of a full-time role for Antonio Gates on Christmas Eve against the Jets.

Jeremy Maclin (knee) is not believed to have a season-ending injury.
It sounds like it could be a week-to-week thing for Maclin, but Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said Maclin could return as early as this week. However, the Ravens do have a short week against the Colts, playing this Saturday, which hurts the veteran receiver’s chances of playing in Week 16. Consider him on the doubtful side of things, which could lead to more targets for Mike Wallace against Indy. It’s good to hear this isn’t thought to be a serious injury for Maclin, though.

Drew Stanton will start for the Cardinals in Week 16.
While Blaine Gabbert has shown some major flashes over his five games as the starter, he’s regressed a bit recently—including a 39% completion percentage yesterday against the Redskins. Now Stanton, who’s played pretty well when given opportunities with the Cardinals, will get another chance as the starter. With Carson Palmer’s status up in the air for 2018, it’ll be interesting to see how the quarterbacks play over the final two weeks of the season.

The Patriots hope Rex Burkhead (knee) is ready for the playoffs.
It sounds like Burkhead’s regular season is over, but he thankfully appears to have avoided a serious knee injury. New England probably won’t be eager to give any updates on Burkhead’s status in the coming weeks, so it’ll likely be a bit of a guessing game. But expect him to be out for Weeks 16 and 17, which is a big loss for both the Patriots and fantasy owners that have relied on him over the last few weeks. Mike Gillislee, who has been a healthy scratch over the last several weeks, could now get an opportunity for the Patriots again. However, Dion Lewis is the preferred fantasy option for Week 16. It would’ve be surprising to see Gillislee get goal line touches and convert some scores, though. New England will miss Burkhead’s four-down versatility.

Lee Smith catches one pass against the Cowboys.
Smith gained three yards on his lone reception and is not a recommended fantasy option at the moment.

Jared Cook catches two passes in Week 15.
Cook gained 17 yards on his two receptions against the Cowboys. He has upside in fantasy lineups, but Cook has become difficult to trust.

Michael Crabtree scores twice against the Cowboys.
Crabtree racked up 17 targets in the Week 15 loss, catching seven passes for 39 yards and two touchdowns. Both touchdowns were on throws to the end zone, where Crabtree really excels with his big frame. The veteran receiver is a good option in fantasy lineups on Christmas night against the Eagles, and it wouldn’t be surprising if he got another dozen or so targets in the game.
