Orleans Darkwa | Free Agent RB

Orleans Darkwa scores in Week 15.

Darkwa couldn’t get much going against the Eagles, carrying nine times for seven yards while adding a nine-yard reception, but he did convert a carry at the goal line for a touchdown. The score wasn’t really enough to make it an above average fantasy performance for Darkwa, who should be clearly behind rookie Wayne Gallman for backfield touches over the final two weeks of the year.

Evan Engram | Broncos TE

Evan Engram totals over 100 yards in Week 15.

Engram had a very good game against the Eagles, as he was a reliable target for Eli Manning and made a couple really nice catches in the game. The rookie tight end caught eight of 13 targets for 87 yards while also adding a 14-yard carry versus Philadelphia. While the Giants probably won’t be as pass heavy next week against Arizona, Engram is still a fine TE1 option.

Tyler Kroft | Free Agent TE

Tyler Kroft held in check as Bengals get blown out by Minnesota.

Kroft caught two passes for just one yard. The 25-year-old has been held to four receptions and 31 yards over the past three weeks, so he will be a risky option for the quitting Bengals on Christmas Eve against Detroit.

Shane Vereen | Retired RB

Shane Vereen gets ten touches in Week 15.

Vereen had five carries for 15 yards and five receptions for 15 yards in a loss to the Eagles. It was an even performance by Vereen on a day the Giants threw the ball 57 times. Even in PPR leagues, Vereen is risky in fantasy championships next week against Arizona.

C.J. Uzomah | Eagles TE

C.J. Uzomah caught four passes for 24 yards in Sunday’s loss to Minnesota.

It was the first time this season that Uzomah had more than one reception in a game. He’s not a fantasy option.

Wayne Gallman | Free Agent RB

Wayne Gallman gets 14 touches against the Eagles.

Gallman continues to impress with an increased role since Steve Spagnuolo took over as the interim coach for the Giants, as he is showing that he clearly has the ability to be the lead guy for the team moving forward. The rookie carried eight times for 39 yards and added six receptions (on seven targets) for 40 yards in the Week 15 loss, flashing the ability that made him a star at Clemson. It could’ve been a better day if not for Orleans Darkwa taking and converting a goal line carry, but it’s good to see Gallman do damage with his touches (Darkwa had only seven rushing yards on nine carries). The Giants would probably be wise to give the rookie more work over the final two weeks of the season, and he’s in the FLEX conversation for Christmas Eve against the Cardinals.

Eli Manning | Retired QB

Eli Manning chucks it around in Week 15 loss.

The Giants came out with a gameplan of hitting quick passes in an up-tempo offense against the Eagles, and it worked for much of the game—particularly in the first half when they scored 23 points. Manning was 37/57 for 434 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception in the game. Two touchdowns were to Tavarres King, and the other was to Sterling Shepard on a crossing route that went for 67 yards. Quick slant routes set up double moves, and it was a good game for Eli, who unfortunately didn’t get much help from his defense to pick up a victory. Trusting Eli in Week 16 against the Cardinals is risky.
