Join now >Kenny Britt is close to signing with the Patriots, according to Field Yates.
This is simply a perfect match, as Britt gives New England another bigger-bodied receiver on the outside with Malcolm Mitchell still being out with his knee injury. The Patriots picked up Michael Floyd late last year before their Super Bowl run, and now they are doing the same with Britt. Don’t expect Britt to be a big-time fantasy contributor over the final three weeks of the season, but he’ll improve an already-great Patriots offense.

Marlon Mack gets six carries in Colts’ loss.
The rookie running back gained 14 yards on his six attempts, as he couldn’t find much room to run against the Broncos. Mack is just a dynasty-league option right now, as veteran Frank Gore still leads the Indianapolis backfield.

The 49ers are signing wide receiver Max McCaffrey, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
McCaffrey, the son of longtime NFL receiver Ed McCaffrey (and brother of Christian McCaffrey), was on the Packers practice squad. His dad actually played one season with the Niners in 1994. McCaffrey might have some opportunities over the final three weeks in a depleted San Francisco receiving corps, but he’s not a recommended fantasy pickup.

Philip Rivers throws three interceptions in Saturday night loss to the Chiefs.
Both offensively and defensively, Kansas City dominated this one. The Chargers couldn’t make any big plays down the field, and they did a nice job blanketing receivers throughout the game. Rivers was 20/36 for 227 yards, one touchdown, and three interceptions in loss. One interception was on a forced deep ball into double coverage. Another was on a fourth down where he had to throw the ball under pressure and had his arm hit. And the final one was on a pass down the field where Travis Benjamin didn’t appear to be looking for the ball. Rivers could’ve easily had another pass intercepted early in the game on a deep shot into double coverage in the end zone. The Chargers will look to get back on track next week against the Jets, and Rivers will be in QB1 consideration.

Julius Thomas catches two passes against the Patriots.
Thomas gained 11 yards on his two receptions. He was targeted on a deep ball, but he failed to adjust to a ball that was thrown outside and couldn’t come up with it. Thomas will look to have a bigger game in Week 15, but he’s difficult to trust in fantasy lineups.

Frank Gore gets 13 touches against the Broncos.
Gore briefly left the game at the end of the second half after he took a hit to the knee area, but he returned for the start of the third quarter. The veteran running back had ten carries for 31 yards and three receptions for 37 yards in the loss. He ran well when given room, but the Broncos played solid run defense in this one. Gore might have similar trouble finding room to run in Week 16 against the Ravens, so he remains only a FLEX option in fantasy lineups.

Anthony Fasano catches one pass in Week 14.
Fasano gained 17 yards on his lone reception versus New England. The veteran tight end’s role isn’t big enough to be a viable fantasy option right now.
