Join now >The Jets have released Josh Doctson.
The former first-round pick opted out last season, and he is now entering his age-28/29 campaign. He shouldn’t have trouble finding another landing spot, but New York is pretty well set at receiver after adding Corey Davis and second-round pick Elijah Moore.

The Titans signed Brian Hill.
The 2017 fifth-round pick had his best season last year, rushing 100 times for 465 yards (4.7 yards per carry) and one touchdown while also adding 25 receptions for 199 yards. Hill runs hard and will be a good fit as a backup option behind Derrick Henry in Tennessee.

The Lions are waiving Kerryon Johnson.
Johnson—a second-round pick in 2018—isn’t going to stick around with the new regime, but it would be a bit of a surprise if he goes unclaimed on waivers. Still just 23 (he turns 24 at the end of June), Johnson rushed 283 times for 1,225 yards (4.3 YPC) and eight touchdowns over three seasons with Detroit; a new landing spot should be good for his fantasy outlook after the Lions signed Jamaal Williams and drafted Jermar Jefferson. Miami comes to mind as an immediate potential landing spot, though multiple teams could try to claim Johnson.

Washington is signing Deon Yelder.
Yelder has stuck around with the Chiefs for the past three seasons, and now he’ll join a Washington team where he’ll potentially look to win a larger role on offense. For now, Yelder is off the fantasy radar in standard-sized leagues.

The Buccaneers are re-signing Blaine Gabbert to a one-year deal, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.
Gabbert should again be Tom Brady’s backup this season, and second-round pick Kyle Trask is expected to be the No. 3 option for Bruce Arians. The veteran recently attended a UFC event with Brady and Mike Evans, so he’s clearly someone TB12 trusts in the quarterback room.

The Lions are signing Darren Fells.
Fells spent 2017 with the Lions, and he’s back under the new regime as very strong depth behind third-year pro T.J. Hockenson. The veteran tight end has played as well as ever over his past two seasons in Houston, catching 11 touchdowns in that span. Fells will look to emerge as a key red-zone target for Jared Goff in Detroit.

The Chiefs are signing Chris Finke, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
Finke went undrafted in 2020, but he apparently impressed in recent workouts catching passes from Trevor Lawrence and Ian Book. We thought he deserved to get drafted coming out of Notre Dame, so it’ll be interesting to see if Finke does enough this summer to earn a roster spot. Notably, Finke possesses a skillset in the slot that Kansas City hasn’t really had for Patrick Mahomes.
