Peyton Barber works as workhorse in Week 13.

With Doug Martin (concussion) out for the Bucs, the team handed Barber a heavy workload versus Green Bay, as he carried 23 times for 102 and added four receptions for a team-high 41 receiving yards. The former Auburn Tiger showed his ability to run downhill, and you should consider him a solid option in fantasy lineups if Doug Martin remains out for the first week of the fantasy playoffs.

Doug Martin (concussion) did not practice today.

Martin still has a few more days to get cleared, and he wasn’t really expected to get cleared in time for today’s practice. If Martin isn’t able to go, it’ll likely be a committee approach in Tampa Bay’s backfield. Check back in tomorrow for his Thursday practice status.

Jameis Winston throws two touchdowns in Bucs’ Week 13 loss.

Winston was beat up by the Packers in Lambeau, as they sacked him seven times in the game. The third-year quarterback was 21/32 for 270 yards and two touchdowns, but he did lose a fumble that was returned for a touchdown on a strip sack because he carelessly tried to throw the ball while going down. Winston is in the backend QB1 conversation for Week 14 against the Lions.

Aaron Jones (knee) was limited in practice today.

The rookie running back missed the last two games while dealing with his MCL injury, but it looks like Jones might be a bit ahead of schedule. The original timeline was 3-6 weeks according to multiple reports, but maybe he’ll be able to get ready enough to play this Sunday versus the Buccaneers. It likely won’t be another week until Jones plays, but it’s something to keep an eye on over the next few days.

Laquon Treadwell catches nine-yard pass in Week 13 win.

It was his only reception of the game, but converted a huge third down in the 14-9 victory. Treadwell path to production looks murky with Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs ahead of him, but he remains a hold in dynasty leagues. He probably won’t be a factor in the fantasy playoffs.

Ty Montgomery (ribs/wrist) did not practice today.

The rest injury appears to be a new one, as it wasn’t listed on the injury report last week. Either way, Montgomery is going to need to practice if he’s going to suit up on Sunday against Tampa Bay.

Jarius Wright catches three passes in win over the Falcons.

They went for 18 yards, but they were key receptions in key moments in Minnesota’s 14-9 win. Wright should have a confidence boost down the stretch, but he’s not an option in the fantasy playoffs.
