Vannett stepped up after the loss of Luke Willson to a concussion, and he caught two of four targets for 29 yards and a touchdown. The score came on a corner route to the end zone for 17 yards. He’s not a fantasy option, but it’s great to see the second-year tight end catch his first NFL touchdown.

DeSean Jackson corals eight passes in loss to the Falcons.
Jackson had eight receptions for 60 yards in the 34-20 defeat, and it was his most catches in a game since Week 1 of 2014. Ryan Fitzpatrick hasn’t played favorites between Jackson and Mike Evans, which has been good for the speedster’s production. He’s worth considering as a FLEX play in Week 13 against the Packers, but he remains a better option in standard leagues than PPR leagues.

Marlon Mack gets six touches in Week 12.
Mack carried four times for 11 yards and had two receptions (on two targets) for 20 yards against the Titans. The speedy rookie running back should get more touches down the stretch for the 3-8 Colts, but he’s not a recommended option in fantasy lineups right now.

Mike Evans caught six passes for 78 yards in Sunday’s loss to Atlanta.
Evans led the team in yardage, but he left a touchdown on the field when Ryan Fitzpatrick threw a perfect pass that went right through his hands in the end zone. The big-bodied receiver hasn’t scored since Fitzpatrick took over as the starter for an injured Jameis Winston, and he should be downgraded to low-end WR1 status until Winton’s return. Tampa Bay heads north to face the Packers next Sunday.

Coby Fleener catches one pass in Week 12 loss.
It went for eight yards, and Fleener stayed in the game after a hit to the head, but he was later checked for and diagnosed with a concussion. Hopefully Fleener can recover in time for next week’s big game against Carolina, but he isn’t a fantasy option.
11/27/17 - 01:58 PM ET
Charles Sims sees four touches in Week 12 loss.
Sims caught three passes for 26 yards and rushed once for three yards. The receiving back doesn’t see enough volume to be a fantasy option. Leave him on the waiver wire.
11/27/17 - 10:58 AM ET
Frank Gore scores against the Titans.
Gore handled 19 touches in the Week 12 loss, carrying 17 times for 62 yards and a touchdown while adding two receptions (on five targets) for 17 yards. Though talented rookie Marlon Mack is in the mix, Gore continues to get more touches and is the preferred fantasy option. Gore is a risky option against the Jaguars next week, though, as Jacksonville held him to 34 yards in their first matchup of the season.
