Join now >Charles Clay (knee) is active versus Kansas City.
Clay was limited in practice during the week and listed as questionable, but he was expected to play in the Week 12 matchup. Consider Clay more of a TE2, as the Chiefs have done a great job defending tight ends this season.

Jordan Matthews (knee) is active for Week 12.
After missing last week with the knee issue, Matthews is back in the lineup for the Bills. He might get more targets with Kelvin Benjamin (knee) inactive, but Matthews is difficult to trust in fantasy lineups.

Matt Forte (knee) is active for the Jets.
After getting in a practice on Friday, there was an obvious chance the veteran back would be able to go today against the Panthers. He’s now officially in the lineup, but Forte is a risky fantasy play given the though matchup in a split backfield with Bilal Powell and Elijah McGuire.

Rishard Matthews (hamstring) is inactive for Week 12.
Matthews injured his hamstring in practice late in the week, and it’s bad enough that he isn’t able to go today versus the Colts. Rookie receiver Corey Davis will look to step up in a good matchup against a vulnerable secondary, so he has a good amount of upside in fantasy lineups. Matthews should be back for Week 13, but it’s not lock.

The Cowboys are waiving running back Darren McFadden.
According to multiple reports, this is a “mutual” parting of ways between McFadden and the Cowboys. This makes a lot of sense, as McFadden probably feels he can be a productive player but hasn’t been playing even with Ezekiel Elliott suspended for six games. There should be teams interested in McFadden, whether it be by claiming him or by signing him after he clears waivers. The division rival Redskins might be a team to keep an eye on.

Christian McCaffrey could get more snaps in the slot this week.
McCaffrey reportedly got more snaps at that position during practice this week, as it appears he’s set to help make up for the loss of teammate Curtis Samuel (ankle) for the season. The dynamic rookie running back is a matchup nightmare for linebackers and safeties, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see him get around ten targets per game moving forward. McCaffrey is an RB1 down the stretch as someone that the Panthers look poised to get the ball to a lot, and he might be an elite RB1 in PPR formats.

Mike Williams’ injury is a bone bruise, according to Ian Rapoport.
Rapoport says it’s not season-ending, but the rookie receiver will be week-to-week. The 5-6 Chargers are actually in a very good position for the playoffs, so they could probably really use him down the stretch if he can get healthy. Williams can be dropped from all fantasy teams as he hasn’t had a huge impact this season, but hopefully he’s able to return and make big plays for his team toward the end of the season.
