Join now >Jamison Crowder scores first touchdown of the season on Thanksgiving.
The preseason breakout pick continues to put together some excellent games after his slow start to the season, catching seven of ten targets for a career-high 141 yards and a touchdown (his first of the season) against the Giants. The score was a 15-yarder on a play where he came back to a scrambling Kirk Cousins, who hit him with a strike in the end zone on the run. And Crowder also had a long of 38 yards on a pass down the field. He’s become a favorite target of Cousins over the last few weeks, so Crowder should be in most fantasy lineups in Week 13 against the Cowboys.

Byron Marshall gets five touches in Week 12.
Marshall, who was filling in as the primary passing-down back in the first game without Chris Thompson this season, had four carries for 18 yards and one reception for 12 yards in the Thanksgiving win over the Giants. There was a pass in the third quarter that was intended for him, but went off his hands and to Giants cornerback Janoris Jenkins for a pick-six; however, it was an inaccurate throw by Kirk Cousins and shouldn’t be put on Marshall. Marshall could deliver some PPR FLEX value, but there are probably better options out there in fantasy lineups.

Ryan Grant catches one pass in Week 12.
Grant gained only three yards on his lone reception. While he’s a consistent player for the Redskins, he doesn’t get enough volume on offense to be a reliable fantasy option.

Niles Paul gets five targets versus the Giants.
Paul caught three passes in the Thanksgiving night win, gaining 16 yards. He’s a big-time contributor to the Redskins in real life, as he’s a special-teams captain, but Paul doesn’t get enough work on offense to be a good fantasy option.

Maurice Harris catches both targets on Thanksgiving.
Harris gained 12 yards on his two receptions, and he continues to mix in on offense behind Jamison Crowder and Josh Doctson. He’s shown he can step up and make plays for his team, but Harris’ role isn’t big enough to be a fantasy option.
11/24/17 - 10:10 AM ET
Samaje Perine gets 24 carries in Thanksgiving start.
The rookie running back from Oklahoma had a very good game while handling the load in the first game without both Rob Kelley and Chris Thompson this season, carrying 21 times for 96 yards while adding three receptions (on four targets) for 30 yards. Perine seemed to get better as the game went on, as the big and bruising back does a good job of picking up positive yardage after initial contact with his downhill running. Perine is a good bet for another 20+ touches against the Cowboys next week, so he’ll be an RB2.

Kirk Cousins plays well in Redskins’ Thanksgiving win over the Giants.
Cousins was 19/31 for 242 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception while also adding a seven-yard rush on his only carry of the game. The first touchdown was in the third quarter on a great throw on the run to an open Jamison Crowder in the end zone; and the second touchdown was off a play-action fake before throwing a 14-yard strike to Josh Doctson on an out route in the end zone. The interception came on an inaccurate throw where Cousins appeared to get his front foot caught, as the pass went off Byron Marshall and deflected to Giants cornerback Janoris Jenkins for a pick-six. Next Thursday night, Cousins faces the Cowboys—who were just gashed by Philip Rivers. He’ll remain a QB1.
