Marvin Jones Jr. scores twice against the Vikings.

Jones entered the game with a very difficult matchup versus Vikings lockdown corner Xavier Rhodes, but he ended up with one of his best games of the year, catching six passes for 109 yards and two touchdowns. The first score was on an in route in the red zone, and the second was on a 43-yard deep ball that he caught over Rhodes and Terrance Newman—both of whom were on the field covering him (there were 12 players on the field for Minnesota on the play). Despite the great game in a tough matchup, Jones has some risk in another tough matchup with Baltimore in Week 13.

Michael Thomas gets 11 targets in Week 11.

Thomas caught six passes for 91 yards against the Redskins, as he was again a reliable target for Drew Brees. The second-year receiver will continue to offer a very high floor each week, and he should remain in lineups against the Rams in Week 12.

Golden Tate doesn’t do much against the Vikings.

Mike Zimmer’s defense again did a great job of limiting the Lions slot receiver, as he caught four of eight targets for seven yards in the Thanksgiving loss. He also had two carries and gained 13 yards rushing. The Ravens are a difficult matchup in Week 13, but he should make a bigger impact against them.

Devante Mays fumbles twice in first NFL action.

Mays rushed three times for negative-one yard and lost one of his two fumbles in a shutout loss. The rookie isn’t a fantasy option whether or not Ty Montgomery (ribs) returns in Week 12.

Ameer Abdullah gets nine touches in Week 12.

Abdullah carried six times for 14 yards along with three receptions (on five targets) for 29 yards versus the Vikings. Early in the game, there was a fumbled handoff that was recovered by Minnesota, but it didn’t appear to get to him and the fumble was credited to Matthew Stafford. It was good to see Abdullah involved as a receiver, but he’s not getting enough carries to be more than a weak FLEX option in a tough matchup against the Ravens next week.

Coby Fleener leads the Saints in Week 11 receiving.

Fleener was targeted heavily toward the end of the game with the Saints attempting to stage a comeback, which they successfully did. Fleener caught five of five targets for 91 yards in the win, and it was by far his highest receiving total of the season. He’s too volatile to be a recommended fantasy option right now, though.

Theo Riddick gets six touches against the Vikings.

Riddick carried five times for 20 yards and added one reception for ten yards in the Thanksgiving day game. Detroit is using him more as a runner as of late, but the team doesn’t run the ball enough right now for him to be a recommended fantasy option.
