Goodwin lost his son just hours before the game due to a premature birth, but he played anyway and was a key part of San Francisco’s victory. The speedster also rushed once for 18 yards in the game, and sprung Garrett Celek with a big block on his 47-yard touchdown.

Chris Thompson gets 12 touches in Week 10.
Thompson carried nine times for 26 yards and added three receptions for 41 yards in the game. The Vikings did a good job on Thompson for the most part, and this was two straight difficult matchups for Thompson. Next week against a Saints defense that’s been playing very well might not get much easier, but Thompson is still a FLEX option in fantasy lineups. If Rob Kelley (leg) is out, Thompson would be in line for more work in the backfield and would become an even better option.

Matt Breida scores 33-yard touchdown in win over the Giants.
Breida split the defense in the fourth quarter for the score, and it helped that New York seems to have no interest in tackling lately. He finished with nine carries for 55 yards, and also caught a three-yard pass. Breida might have earned more work down the stretch to see what the franchise has in him for 2018 and beyond, but he won’t be anything more than a bench stash following a Week 11 bye.

Kyle Rudolph gets seven targets in Week 10.
Rudolph caught five passes for 37 yards against the Redskins, with one pass intended for him in the flat going for a pick-six after it was jumped by safety D.J. Swearinger. This was a good matchup that Rudolph has historically had success in (he had a touchdown in each of his last three games against the Redskins), but he couldn’t get much going despite the four touchdowns by Case Keenum in the game. He’ll be a high-floor option against the Rams in Week 11.

Carlos Hyde totals 104 yards on 19 touches in first win of the season.
Hyde rushed 17 times for 98 yards and caught two passes for six yards. Backup Matt Breida split the defense for a 33-yard score and turned nine carries into 55 yards on the day, but Hyde’s starting job is in no danger after the bye week. That said, he could see less work down the stretch as an impending free agent. Consider him an RB2 in Week 12 against Seattle.

C.J. Beathard leads 49ers to their first win of the season.
Beathard was 19/25 for 288 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. He also rushed five times for 15 yards and another touchdown. The third-round pick connected with Marquise Goodwin and Garrett Celek for long scores, but his time as the starter could be over if Jimmy Garoppolo takes over for him over the bye week. Either way, Beathard has performed admirably for San Francisco this season, and he looks like he could be a long-term, high-end backup for the rebuilding team.

Alfred Morris leads backfield in first game without Zeke.
Morris rushed 11 times for 53 yards, as he out-carried both Rod Smith (3) and Darren McFadden (1). The Cowboys should have probably stayed more committed to the run, especially with Dak Prescott absorbing six sacks from Adrian Clayborn on the blindside, but the usage should be considered a positive for Morris over the next five weeks. He should be in lineups as a quality RB2 next Sunday night against the Eagles.
