Join now >The Bills are signing Matt Breida, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Buffalo already has Devin Singletary and Zack Moss on the roster, but they didn’t feel they got enough at the position down the stretch, so Breida could be an excellent flier. Having just turned 26 last month, the former 49er and Dolphin will bring an added speed element to the backfield. This could turn out to be a full-fledged committee, which would give Breida some decent late-round appeal in redraft leagues because of how high-powered the offense is.

The Chiefs are re-signing Demarcus Robinson.
Robinson will now be entering his sixth season with the Chiefs, and he’s played in all 16 games every year of his career. With Sammy Watkins potentially leaving in free agency, Robinson could have an intriguing boost in role in the Kansas City offense this season.

The Patriots are signing Jakob Johnson to a one-year deal.
Johnson was an exclusive rights free agent, so this was expected. The 26-year-old fullback has done well to stick around with the Patriots for a few years after coming over via the NFL’s International Player Pathway Program in 2019.

The Saints are signing Nick Vannett.
The 2016 third-round pick is getting a three-year deal, presumably helping the Saints get him under the cap. Vannett will help round out the Saints’ tight end group in 2021, but he’s likely to make more of a real-life impact than any fantasy impact.

The Packers are re-signing Marcedes Lewis.
Marcedes’ lengthy career continues, and the 36-year-old is actually getting a two-year deal to remain in Green Bay. The veteran tight end is a favorite of Aaron Rodgers, and he’s a very willing blocker in the run game. Lewis caught three touchdowns last season.

The Jets are signing Tevin Coleman.
Coleman couldn’t get healthy last season, but he should be 100% now and could be a steal for the Jets this late in free agency. Coleman has familiarity with the Jets new coaching staff, including head coach Robert Saleh and offensive coordinator Mike LaFleur, both of whom were with the Niners along with Coleman. The dynamic running back can provide a major jolt off the bench if that’s his role, and his versatility as a receiver can also be utilized. Depending on how the Jets backfield depth chart shakes out throughout the rest of the offseason, the veteran might have a shot to beat out second-year back La’Mical Perine for the starting role.

The Colts are re-signing T.Y. Hilton.
Past indications were that Hilton was unlikely to play for any other team aside from the Colts, but he tested free agency—in the end, he returns to Indy to resume is outstanding career. A strong late-season stretch in 2020 may have rejuvenated the veteran receiver, who will likely be the primary deep threat for Carson Wentz this year. Through nine seasons with the Colts, Hilton has caught 608 passes for 9,360 yards and 50 touchdowns, so 10,000 career yards is well within reach for 2021.
