Join now >The Bengals re-signed Samaje Perine.
It’s a two-year deal for Perine, as the Bengals have liked what they’ve seen from the Oklahoma product, who will help man the Cincinnati backfield along with fellow Sooner Joe Mixon. The 2017 fourth-round pick by Washington had a nice year for the Bengals last season, rushing 63 times for 301 yards (4.8 average) and three touchdowns.

The Jaguars are signing C.J. Beathard.
Beathard is a former third-round pick of the Niners that has solid playing experience (19 games) and has played pretty well. He’s strong depth in the Jaguars quarterback room, which is soon to add Clemson product Trevor Lawrence to the mix barring something unforeseen.

The Bears are signing Damien Williams.
Because he sat out last season as a COVID opt-out, in Williams’ last NFL game he went off in the Super Bowl for the Chiefs and arguably should have been the game’s MVP, so this is an intriguing signing. The Bears of course have David Montgomery locked in as the lead back, and Tarik Cohen is a weapon out of the backfield, too; but Williams is a versatile back that will have a role in Matt Nagy’s offense. The soon-to-be-29-year-old is familiar with Nagy from Kansas City, and he was also with coordinator Bill Lazor in Miami. Williams, who should be fresh after sitting out last year, should be one of the top handcuffs in fantasy football this season.

The Vikings are re-signing Ameer Abdullah.
Abdullah can contribute at both running back and as a returner, and his role on offense behind Dalvin Cook might increase some with Mike Boone leaving during free agency. For now, Abdullah does not need to be on redraft radars in most standard-sized leagues, though.

The Giants have signed Kyle Rudolph.
[UPDATE: Rudolph is having foot surgery but is excepted to be ready for Week 1, and the Giants are honoring the contract they agreed to.] NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport says the two sides are moving forward despite the concern over the foot that was reported on yesterday. Rudolph should have a key role in the Giants offense this season.

James White is re-signing with the Patriots, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.
White was connected to the Buccaneers, but all the work done to retain their championship core might not have left enough space for the veteran back to get a deal he was looking for. Instead, he will remain with New England in a three-headed backfield with Damien Harris and Sony Michel, though the offense projects to look a lot different in 2021. White will be difficult to trust outside of full PPR leagues because of all the new additions.

Kyle Rudolph’s deal with the Giants has been held up.
According to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, the Giants are concerned about Rudolph’s foot after his physical. The two-year deal the sides agreed to has not been signed yet, and Garafolo says they are figuring out where to go from here. Rudolph might end up having to take a revamped agreement to play for the Giants this season.
