Join now >The Texans signed quarterback Josh Johnson.
Johnson was last with the Giants, and the Texans are bringing him in as the third guy behind Tom Savage and T.J. Yates. Johnson does have a lot of athleticism and could be someone the Texans go to if they need an eventual spark on offense.

Jared Cook plays great in Raiders’ win.
Cook went over 100 yards for the second game in a row, catching eight of nine targets for 126 yards, with a long of 35 yards against the Dolphins. Derek Carr looked his big tight end’s way early, as Cook converted two key long third downs on the opening drive for Oakland. With at least 57 yards in each of his last three games, Cook will be in the TE1 conversation when Oakland returns from its Week 10 bye.

The Vikings are discussing putting quarterback Sam Bradford on IR, according to Chris Mortensen.
Teddy Bridgewater is set to be activated to the 53-man roster tomorrow, and sending Bradford to IR to free up a roster space sounds like a serious discussion. It’s a real shame that such a good quarterback and good guy hasn’t been able to get on the field because of his troubled knee, especially on a team he’d have a real shot to win a Super Bowl with. According to multiple reports, Bradford is seeing Dr. James Andrews today again, so Minnesota’s decision could depend on how the knee currently is—a knee scope might be an option. Hopefully Bradford is somehow healthy and ready to play for the Vikings soon, but it looks very doubtful at this point.

Jalen Richard gets five carries in Week 9.
Richard gained 14 yards on his five attempts, as both he and teammate DeAndre Washington were behind Marshawn Lynch after Lynch’s return from a one-game suspension. Richard is just a dynasty league option for now.

DeAndre Washington gets five touches against the Dolphins.
With Marshawn Lynch back from his suspension, Washington and teammate Jalen Richard took a back seat in the backfield. Washingont carried four times for 16 yards and caught one pass for -2 yards in the game. He does appear to be ahead of Richard right now, as he entered the game more early—but Washington doesn’t need to be on fantasy rosters right now.

Marshawn Lynch scores twice in Week 9.
In his return from his one-game suspension for running out on the field and shoving an official while trying to help Chiefs cornerback Marcus Peters, Lynch had his best game of the season. He had 14 carries for 57 yards and two touchdowns while adding two receptions for six yards. The Raiders have a bye in Week 10, and Lynch will be a FLEX option for Week 11.

Derek Carr hits 300 yards in Raiders’ win.
This was Carr’s third-straight game with at least 300 yards, as he appears to be hitting a bit of a groove here. Overall, he was 21/30 for 300 yards, one touchdown, and one interception against the Dolphins. The interception by safety Reshad Jones came late in the game with the Raiders trying to ice it, and the touchdown was on a nice 44-yard deep ball to speedster Johnny Holton. Oakland has a bye before facing the Patriots in Mexico City in Week 11.
