Minnesota did a good job of limiting the tight end, as he only had two receptions for 19 yards in the Browns’ loss. The rookie tight end pushed off late in the game and had a pass interference called against him. The Browns have a Week 9 bye, so maybe sure you don’t have Njoku in your lineup as a TE2 next week.

Michael Floyd catches one pass in Week 8.
Floyd’s lone reception went for seven yards. He came into the game battling a hamstring injury, so he’ll take the bye week to get that closer to 100% if it’s not there yet.

Russell Wilson plays outstanding in Seahawks’ win.
This was one of Wilson’s best games of his career, as he overcame the lack of a running game and poor defense, basically putting Seattle on his back against the Texans. Wilson was 26/41 for 452 yards, four touchdowns, and one interception; and he also, by far, led the team in rushing with 30 yards on four attempts. Two touchdowns went to Paul Richardson, and two went to Jimmy Graham, including the game-winner to a wide-open Graham with just over 20 seconds remaining in the game. Wilson’s MVP performance puts him right in the discussion for the award as we hit just around the halfway point in the season, but he’s probably not really worried about that. The Seahawks face the Redskins next week, and Wilson will continue to offer monster QB1 upside.

Geoff Swaim catches 18-yard pass in Week 8 win.
It was just Swaim’s second catch of the season. He’s not a fantasy option.

Nelson Agholor scores again in Eagles’ win.
The third-year receiver continues his predictable breakout camp gain, catching four of five targets for 45 yards and a touchdown against the Redskins. The score came on a short little seam route by the end zone, where he easily went up for a high pass and came down with the ball despite it appearing like it was in the lights and tough to see. The supremely talented former first-rounder is probably the best wide receiver on the Eagles—and the includes high-priced free agent Alshon Jeffery. Agholor, who has a touchdown in three straight games and five on the season, is a strong option in Week 8 against San Francisco.
10/24/17 - 12:23 AM ET
Wendell Smallwood gets ten touches against the Redskins.
This was Smallwood’s first game back in a couple games, as he carried eight times for 25 yards and added two receptions for 14 yards. He ran better than LeGarrette Blount overall, but Blount didn’t have much room to run at all versus Washington. Smallwood gets the 49ers next week and has a chance to do some damage if he gets another 10+ touches.
10/24/17 - 12:14 AM ET
Rob Kellet scores in Week 8 loss.
Kelley rushed eight times for just 19 yards, but he was able to find the end zone in the first quarter for a goal-line touchdown. Despite the limited touches, Kelley is the clear leader for early-down carries, as Samaje Perine didn’t even record a touch. That said, Chris Thompson is the only Washington running back worth starting against Seattle next week.
