Lamar Miller | Saints RB

Lamar Miller scores twice against Seattle.

Miller worked as the clear lead back in Houston’s backfield, carrying 21 times for 54 yards and a touchdown while also adding three receptions for 19 yards and a touchdown through the air. He didn’t put up huge yardage numbers, but Miller ran hard against the tough Seahawks defense and had a good day overall. Rookie D’Onta Foreman didn’t get much playing time at all in the game, which is a great sign for those with Miller on their fantasy team. Keep Miller in lineups in Week 9 against the Colts.

Alshon Jeffery | Free Agent WR

Alshon Jeffery finally makes big play in Week 8 win.

Jeffery caught two passes for 62 yards, with the highlight being a 53-yard touchdown catch in the third quarter where he out-jumped the cornerback and got free down the right sideline to twist into the end zone. Even with the big play, through eight games, Jeffery is being outplayed by Nelson Agholor on more targets, as he’s on pace for just 56 receptions for 832 yards and six touchdowns. He should be on the bench against Denver in Week 9.

10/30/17 - 12:57 PM ET

Jamize Olawale | Free Agent FB

Jamize Olawale scores in Week 8.

Olawale scored on the opening drive for the Raiders on a goal line carry. Overall, he had two carries for three yards and the score. He’s a very good and versatile fullback, but Olawale is off the fantasy radar.

10/30/17 - 12:52 PM ET

Terrelle Pryor | Free Agent WR

Terrelle Pryor gets role scaled back in Week 7.

Pryor, who has been a flop as a free agent acquisition so far, didn’t start the game for Washington and he didn’t play for most of the game. He did get some snaps once the game got going and ended up with two receptions for 14 yards, but Pryor dropped a pass on the sideline and has struggled catching the ball in 2017. Pryor was an early-round fantasy pick by many, but he doesn’t need to be on fantasy rosters right now.

10/24/17 - 12:04 AM ET

Alfred Morris | Free Agent RB

Alfred Morris rushed three times for three yards in Sunday’s win over the Redskins.

Morris isn’t a fantasy option unless Ezekiel Elliott’s suspension kicks in. The Cowboys play the Chiefs in Week 9.

10/30/17 - 01:30 PM ET

Chris Hogan | Retired WR

Chris Hogan caught four passes for 71 yards in Sunday’s win over the Falcons.

Hogan briefly left the game and went to the medical tent, but he was back in as the Patriots handled Atlanta 23-7. Had the Falcons been able to keep up, it could have been a big game for Hogan and the offense, but it didn’t happen. He’ll at least be a high-end WR2 option against the Chargers in Week 8, especially if Casey Hayward shadows Brandin Cooks.

10/23/17 - 04:33 PM ET

Ryan Grant | Packers WR

Ryan Grant catches all three targets in Week 7.

Grant gained 19 yards on his three receptions against the Eagles. He’s a solid contributor for the Redskins, but Grant is not on the fantasy radar right now.
