Join now >The Raiders are re-signing Zay Jones.
Jones knows Jon Gruden’s offense and will at least fill a reserve receiver role this season, with the potential for more if he can win a bigger job this summer.

A.J. Green is signing with the Cardinals.
A Green-Cardinals pairing is a bit of a surprise, but it has a shot to pay off in a big way for Arizona this season. Despite getting paid a ton on the franchise tag, Green is coming off the worst year of his career (47/523/2) with the Bengals, and he’ll be joining a new franchise after a decade in Cincinnati (selected fourth overall in 2011). Green is the type of talent to bet on, and don’t be surprised if he re-emerges as a major factor on the outside for a Cardinals offense that should run a lot of plays. Also, the veteran should see a good amount of single coverage working opposite DeAndre Hopkins.

The Texans have re-signed Pharaoh Brown to a one-year deal.
Brown saw an increased role in 2020, and he will look to build on that under the new coaching staff. The former undrafted free agent will be competing with a few others for snaps at tight end, so he won’t be a recommended fantasy option.

The Chiefs have tendered Byron Pringle.
Pringle saw an increasing role down the stretch in 2020, and he will stick around with Kansas City if another team doesn’t sign him away. The Chiefs could be a candidate to draft a wideout relatively early in next month’s draft if they don’t re-sign Sammy Watkins or make another move.

The Raiders are signing John Brown, according to Adam Caplan.
Brown was a very good piece for Josh Allen in Buffalo, and now he will look to be the same for Derek Carr. Jon Gruden will certainly be hoping for a Year 2 leap from Henry Ruggs III (and Bryan Edwards), but Brown could do a lot of the same things Nelson Agholor did as a downfield threat that knows how to get open deep. If he stays healthy, “Smokey” could prove to be an underrated fantasy value heading into his age-31 campaign.

Washington is re-signing Lamar Miller.
Miller spent time with the Patriots, Bears, and Washington last season, so it’s good to see the Football Team bring him back for 2021. The veteran running back will look to win a role behind Antonio Gibson, and his experience could be something Washington is looking for in the running back room.

The Lions are signing Jamaal Williams to a two-year deal, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
Williams left the Packers on good terms, but he will now get a shot at them twice per year in Detroit. We know the new-look Lions will want to run the ball, though it will be interesting to see if this signing means Kerryon Johnson is put on the trade block. Either way, look for Williams to carry some FLEX appeal as an all-around option behind D’Andre Swift.
