Join now >The Jaguars are signing Chris Manhertz.
Urban Meyer continues to add pieces to his roster, and the team has said they must improve the tight end room this offseason. We’ll see if Manhertz can win a big role in the Jacksonville offense this summer.

The Patriots are signing Hunter Henry, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Like many of this year’s free agents, Henry has had some trouble staying healthy. But the former second-round pick has been very consistent when available, going over 478 yards with at least four touchdowns in all four of his NFL seasons with the Chargers, and he will now join Jonnu Smith in New England as perhaps the NFL’s best tight end duo. Based on last season, the Patriots have been understandably aggressive in upgrading the supporting cast with Henry, Smith, Nelson Agholor, and Kendrick Bourne over the past 24 hours. For all four new additions, quarterback play will be key.

Washington is signing Ryan Fitzpatrick, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
It will be a one-year deal for $10 million (and could go up to $12 million), but the landing spot is obviously the key takeaway here, as the veteran passer will get to lead perhaps his best team to date if he can beat out Taylor Heinicke and Kyle Allen in camp. Washington is ready to win now because of their defense, and it will be fun to watch Fitzpatrick play for the defending NFC East champions. We’ll see what kind of domino effect this signing has on the quarterback landscape.

The Saints are re-signing Jameis Winston to a one-year deal.
The former No. 1 overall pick in the draft is now set to battle Taysom Hill for New Orleans’ starting quarterback job with Drew Brees officially retired. Hill was the starter when Brees was injured last season and appeared to show progress as a passer, but Brees was caught on the sidelines telling Winston this was his team now at the conclusion of their playoff loss. We’ll see if Winston can rein in some of his reckless tendencies after sitting behind Brees for a year—if he does, the upside is big.

The Broncos are placing the low RFA tender on Phillip Lindsay.
This is somewhat of a surprise, and it probably makes it more likely another team is able to sign Lindsay as a restricted free agent when the new league year starts on Wednesday. Denver has the right to match any offer for Linsday, but they will not receive any compensation if they allow him to sign with another team. Linday’s situation will be one to keep an eye on in the coming days.

The Dolphins are signing Cethan Carter.
Carter did well to get a three-year deal from the Dolphins, who obviously have a plan in mind for the versatile fullback/tight end. Carter will be a real-life contributor for Miami, but he’s off the fantasy radar.

Devontae Booker agrees to deal with the Giants.
Booker ran very hard for the Raiders last season when given opportunities, and now he’ll join the Giants backfield mix behind Saquon Barkley. The veteran running back also brings plus ability as a pass-catcher out of the backfield.
