Join now >Jeremy Maclin (shoulder) was limited in practice today.
Maclin was limited all last week and didn’t play in the game, so it’s no lock he’ll be ready until he gets a full participation in. He could be limited all week and still play on Sunday, however, as he was close to playing against Chicago last Sunday.

Dion Sims catches three passes in Week 8.
Sims gained 15 yards on his three receptions, and after teammate Zach Miller’s unfortunately-devestating knee injury, his role might increase moving forward. Second-round rookie Adam Shaheen might take over as the primary guy, but Sims is worth keeping an eye on.

Sammy Watkins catches three passes against the Cardinals.
Watkins gained 42 yards on his three receptions (five targets), which was a fine game considering the matchup with perhaps the league’s best cornerback in Patrick Peterson. Watkins did again have a chance at a bigger game, as he was wide open on a deep ball that Jared Goff overthrew. The big games should come for Watkins, as he’s extremely talented and is playing in one of the league’s best offenses through seven weeks. The Rams have a bye next week, but Watkins has a matchup against a Giants secondary that’s been beat deep this season—though the Giants might opt to put their top corner Janoris Jenkins on Watkins for most of the game.

Anquan Boldin has expressed interest in returning.
ESPN obtained a letter from the Bills to Boldin’s agent, giving permission to shop a trade. The Bills still own Boldin’s rights, but apparently he will not be playing for them if he returns. Perhaps the Ravens, who play tonight, would be a team interested in bringing him as the fourth receiver with injuries to their receiving corps, but it’s possible no teams are interested in Boldin at this point. The trade deadline is next Tuesday, so we’ll see if the Bills can move him by then.

Golden Tate (shoulder) was limited in practice today.
It’s the second-straight limited practice for Tate, and we might get a better idea of his status tomorrow when the official injury report for the game will be released. If you’re making lineup decisions including Tate, keep in mind that the game is on Sunday night.

Tre McBride comes up big, but the Bears lose to the Saints.
McBride flashes his big-play ability in the Week 8 loss, catching three of five targets for 92 yards. He just missed making the final roster for the Titans this preseason, but McBride also showed nice ability with them during this preseason. He’ll look to keep it going against the Packers in Week 10.

Aaron Rodgers might be able to return in six weeks, according to Adam Schefter.
ESPN’s Schefter says doctors told the Packers they believe Rodgers will be able to throw in six weeks. This really is just confirming the though all along—there’s a chance Rodgers returns this season. Schefter earlier this week seemed to have made it as if Rodgers being placed on Injured Reserve was the end of his season, but that’s not the case. However, NFL Network is reporting that the collarbone break was bad enough that Rodgers is not expected back this season. Right now, the Packers just need to worry about rallying around Brett Hundley and hoping they are in a playoff position for a potential Rodgers return. Again, Rodgers is an elite athlete that might be able to heal quicker than expected. He’s eligible to return in Week 15 against Carolina.
