Anquan Boldin | Retired WR

Anquan Boldin has expressed interest in returning.

ESPN obtained a letter from the Bills to Boldin's agent, giving permission to shop a trade. The Bills still own Boldin's rights, but apparently he will not be playing for them if he returns. Perhaps the Ravens, who play tonight, would be a team interested in bringing him as the fourth receiver with injuries to their receiving corps, but it's possible no teams are interested in Boldin at this point. The trade deadline is next Tuesday, so we'll see if the Bills can move him by then.

Anquan Boldin | Retired WR

Anquan Boldin is retiring from the NFL.

The 36-year-old receiver told this to ESPN's Jim Trotter. Boldin spent almost two weeks with the Bills, but has decided to call it a career. Boldin will always be known for his toughness and reliability as a receiver. No one will forget when he fractured his face after taking a huge helmet-to-helmet hit over the middle against the Jets and then returned after missing only two games. He finishes his career with 1,076 receptions, 13,779 receiving yards, and 82 touchdowns throughout seven seasons with the Cardinals, three seasons with the Ravens, three seasons with the 49ers, and a season with the Lions. And Boldin won a Super Bowl with the Ravens and was named the 2015 Walter Payton Man of the Year. There's a strong case for Boldin being a Hall of Famer.

Anquan Boldin looks sluggish in preseason debut with Bills.

The 36-year-old caught one pass for five yards. It was his first game action of the year, but Boldin was stumbling at least twice as he ran routes, including on a Tyrod Taylor interception. It's fair to wonder how much more the veteran has in the tank, as he will turn 37 in October. We'll see if some of the rust is knocked off next week against his former team in the Ravens.

Anquan Boldin is signing with the Bills, according to Peter Schrager.

It's a one-year deal, according to Schrager. Boldin will bring veteran leadership to Buffalo, and he'll look to emerge as one of the team's top three receivers behind number one Sammy Watkins. Boldin scored eight touchdowns last season in Detroit and could emerge as a viable fantasy bench option if he becomes the Bills' number two option in the passing game this season. Although, the Bills are a team that is going to run the football, so it's probably more likely Boldin doesn't deliver much fantasy value.

Anquan Boldin | Retired WR

Anquan Boldin is visiting the Bills on Monday, according to ESPN's Dan Graziano.

If anything comes of this, the 36-year-old would team-up with Tyrod Taylor, who was the backup quarterback when the two were in Baltimore. Boldin showed he still has some left in the tank last season with the Lions, catching 67 passes for 584 yards and eight touchdowns. He would probably be the fourth wideout and a veteran presence behind Sammy Watkins, Andre Holmes, and rookie Zay Jones if he were to join the team.

Anquan Boldin | Retired WR

Anquan Boldin is set to visit a team on Sunday, according to Omar Kelly.

According to Kelly, the 36-year-old receiver has talked to "a number of teams" about signing with them and will visit one this Sunday. It's a mystery who the team is, but we should find out on Sunday if we don't find out in the next few days. Boldin showed he can still help a team during his time with the Lions last season.

Anquan Boldin | Retired WR

John Harbaugh would be open to bringing back receiver Anquan Boldin.

Harbaugh said he believes Boldin can still play at the "highest level," but Harbaugh is one of the most positive people out there. He probably really would like Boldin back on the team after he spent three seasons there from 2010-2012, but Harbaugh said it's up to GM Ozzie Newsome. There has been talk that Boldin might just wait until training camp before he signs with someone. Harbaugh also said the Ravens are looking to add another receiver, maybe through a trade.

Anquan Boldin | Retired WR

Anquan Boldin wants to play in 2017, according to Jim Trotter.

Boldin had eight touchdowns last season and can definitely still help a team out. He'll almost certainly be able to find a team that wants him.

Anquan Boldin caught two-of-six targets for 24 yards in first round loss to the Seahawks.

Boldin had two unnecessary roughness penalties which hurt his team, which is unusual for the veteran Boldin. With a team-high eight touchdowns on the season, Boldin may want to return to the Lions if he decides to keep playing. Keep in mind that Boldin is now the oldest receiver in the NFL, with the retirement of Steve Smith.

Anquan Boldin | Retired WR

Anquan Boldin finds the end zone in season finale.

Boldin caught four passes for 57 yards and a score as the Packers defeated the Lions. The veteran receiver caught 67 passes for 584 yards and a team-high eight touchdowns in the regular season. It would not be surprising to see Boldin make some big plays in the postseason if Detroit is going to make a run.

Anquan Boldin | Retired WR

Anquan Boldin caught five passes for 33 yards in Monday night's loss to Dallas.

Boldin doesn't do much after the catch at this point of his career, but he's been an effective player for Detroit. He can stay on the waiver wire for Week 17.

Anquan Boldin | Retired WR

Boldin catches touchdown in win.

The veteran had three catches for 49 yards, including a 16-yard touchdown. Boldin is still an effective real-life receiver, but is too hard to trust for your fantasy team. He can stay on the wire.

Anquan Boldin | Retired WR

Anquan Boldin caught four of six targets for 40 yards in Sunday's win.

Boldin is a better real-life contributor than fantasy contributor at this stage of his career. He can stay on the waiver wire outside of deeper leagues.

Anquan Boldin | Retired WR

Anquan Boldin catches touchdown on Thanksgiving.

Boldin came up clutch all day for the Lions. He had seven catches for 69 yards and a touchdown. The touchdown came on a savvy play when Matthew Stafford stepped up to his right and Boldin broke with Stafford to get wide open for six. Boldin is still just a dart-throw FLEX option and does not need to be owned in fantasy leagues.

Anquan Boldin | Retired WR

Anquan Boldin catches six passes for 37 yards against the Jaguars.

He’s not a great fantasy option and is more valuable to the Lions than your fantasy team.
